What Game would make you switch consoles

Ok this is for those of you who only have one console have, all but one console, or have all 3 consoles but have a strong dislike for one. tell me what game or games if announced would make you switch consoles.

I dont like X-box but if they announced

Killer instinct 3

id go buy a 360 today
red ring be damned i would be at my nearest wal mart game stop whatever no hesitation and if i was at wal mart id probably buy me a pair of those 360 fanboy underwears they got

Though I have all three, but I do not play my 360 anymore and cancel my online last year, but Monster Hunter Frontier coming out next month is one game that will make me dust of my 360 and renew my perscription...until the beginner's pass ends in July.

If Nintendo went out of business, I MIGHT get a Microsoft Console, provided they do a SEGA and start making Mario games for XBox systems

I own a Ps3 and wii but there's a ton of games for the 360 that would definitely make me switch.

Well I own a  360 and I do play a good deal but, there are already a ton of games out there that make want to pick up a ps3 and a wii though I would say that there is one thing that would make me play my 360 less and that would be if they stop putting out good 360 only rpgs then so if say ps3 was getting all the same rpgs that 360 is getting then I would swap to ps3 for sure.

Bought the PS3 because of Uncharted and the free online.

If the announced elder scrolls 5 as xbox exclusive or something dumb like that i would switch i almost switched for  Splinter Cell just because mass effect 2 was out toobut then it got leaked that theres gonna be a Playstation version so that little thought went out the window.

, Square Enix can't release FF7 on the 360 because the rights of that game also belong to Sony.........too bad

OT: When my 360 used to work I switched sometimes for some co-op games (Gears Of War for example)

I Still don't know why they havn't done this yet! i know that they know it would make them soooooo much money!
the only reason i still have my old playstation is because of that game.

They havent Because in order to update all of the content in that game add voice acting etc etc they projected it would take some where near 10 years by that time so you could have either got a rehash of a great albeit overrated final fantasy title or got star ocean, ff XIII , dissidia, kh for ds, birth by sleep, the upcoming KH3, front mission and whatever other great square title has come out this generation.

Nah, they are just too lazy.
They have the engine, the story, the characters, the map...
The only thing they need to do is to convert it to HD (And the voice acting stuff)
Nomura knows that he can make a remake, but he probably doesn't want to because Wada will Release it for the 360 as well....And Nomura is a PlayStation fanboy

If Guardian Heroes came out exclusively for ps3. Huge. 3D Multiplayer. and using the Unreal Engine then id be rockin on that heavy.

But then it will have to be followed up by exclusives such as Demons Crest sequel or Remake, Snk Vs Capcom 2 & Capcom Vs Snk 3. If all 3 of those games were coming out in the comin months Exclusively "First" for ps3 then id hope on that Train

ya i read that too but it doesnt make that much sense tbh, a fully new game doesnt take them that long, let alone a game for which al the creative stuff is already done.

Think how long did XIII take? think how much more content is in IIV? Of course like there will be the matter of doing new textures for everything even if it was just a lazy port would take a while. No i believe the ten year thing. An honest remake would take that long. You guys are right about a crappy port though sure itd be out in a year or two.

10 years is way too long for a remake, do you think that the original VII was 10 years in development?
You know why XIII took so long?
That's because they needed to make everything from scratch because it used to be a PS2 game first, and they decided to do a 360 port almost at the end of the development (which was financially a good idea) and that's why everything took so long.
 the only obstacles I see for VII are coverting it to HD and the voice acting, this could take just 2-3 years though.
They already can use the XIII engine for the graphics, its just that I doubt it will fit in a single Blu Ray Disc of 50GB...
Tbh XIII was pretty bad, I hope that Versus will be better, but with the news of it going Multiplatform (It's not decided yet, but you know that will happen while I hope it doesn't ) I doubt Square wants to pay for 1-3 extra discs for the 360 because its going to be an openworld game àlá FFVII, so I think they will just make it a linear FF again....

Yeah a remake of FF7 would definitely make me buy a PS3 a long with every other big FF fan but, the reason I think Square has not done that yet is because they are waiting for a time when most of their games are bombing or they run out of ideas. Also I think that another reason might because they seem to  this idea to scrap their old rpg formula (which they fully admitted that was the case with FF13 so that is why it sucked so bad cough cough) so after hearing that FF13 did not use their rpg formula and that they are making a new branch of their company that will be called Square Enix Extreme or something like that will make more action games and games of other genres I  think that the other possibility might be that Square is not remaking FF7 because they sound like they want to get a way from rpgs for who knows how long.
