Project Care-a-Lot

Thanks to everyone who tuned in today as Infinity annouced our new Care Bear themed Mugen game, Project Care-a-Lot. The IMT really got behind this idea and worked hard to produce new Care Bear content throughout the day.

As time went on, so many of our associates on the forum jumped on the band wagon and contributed to the cause. We are very grateful for all the support and I believe we strengthed many realtionship today.

Unfortunately, there has been some conflict regarding ownership of sprites claimed by TenSpeed, leaked project information by Lux-a-Lot and an underground leak of Symbiote Bear by a trusted friend. Due to these events, we have decided to make this project private and will no longer make public posts regarding our progress. Everyone who contributed to this point will be beta testing for us as new releases are made.

Instead we decided to return to our Super Marvel vs. Capcom project as well as what ever else each creator was personally working on. It will be almost as if April 1st never happened.

To all Care-a-Lot contributors, feel free to post any graphics you made today into this thread to show what everyone will be missing.

somehow I dont really think that spidermew would actually do that. I think the password was probably planted where he got it from by you sabaki. I may be completely wrong but passwords are hard to obtain on any site unless it is simple as all heck and or someone can actually brute force it. Brute forcing is very risky because the site owners will see the brute force in a matter of minutes. So I actually think you either 1) made it intentionally easy to go along with april fool's day or 2) you planted the Password on the site for people to go after. Again to aid in the final moments of april fool's day.

But anyways dont take that post as being mean or hateful. I was just stating how I think that happened because of course it was april fool's day. I also think the leaking/ stealing of sprites/material/coding from tenspeed  was  also due in part of april fool's day aswell and this is one HUGE  sick joke from IMT.

those style of hyper ports is really easy to do in photoshop

here is a quick tutorial just for you

1. 640 x 480 canvas on black background
2. render images and merge all layers except black background
3. invert merged layer and then colorize to taste
4. clone twice resulting in 3 duplicate layers
5. apply 100% best zoom to lowest layer and 25% best zoom to highest layer
6. erase key portions off the 25% zoom layer like eyes nose mouth etc
7. merge all layers including black background and index the image into a local adaptive palette
8. now paintbucket at 1% with anti-alias and contiguous off to drop your zero color on the parts you want transparent

total time with image search approx 10 mins each

Especially if the care bears were comic book character themed, like a red one with the flash symbol, or Dark Talbain's Symbiote Bear. That would be pretty sweet. We'll see what happens.
