Author Topic: Shao Kahn coming Mid April (Read 2980 times)

The will be a private release about mid april so if you want him you will have to pm. I'm still deciding whether or not I will release his sprites or the one i coded. Anyway since people like my Shao Kahn, I thought it would be a good idea to bring him to Infinity and show you was has been done so far. The reason why he will be released mid April is b/c I always like going over characters to see if everything checks out and there is no mess up in the sprites or moves. I'm going to show you my coded one.

Introduction:

My Shao Khan has two palettes(red and blue)

Standing:

Taunt:

Charge in the air:

This is a Bison edit, since Bison does not have a charge(other than the knee smash) i had to improvise.

Kick:

Hammer:

Teleport:

He's over on the left

Fatality:

Ouch!

Before the Fatality:

Remember I am still looking him over.(I toke a vote from some friends and they seem to like the way i made the hammer move.)

Yeah... He still looks a little too much like Bison though.. and I think the shoes need work.. they look weird... but everything else looks good. Very nice job on this.. I'll be waiting for da release.

i know about the shoes, i'm still working on him. the problem is they the shoes changed color when i fixed the palette. everything does look good. Thanks

even though kung lao is not a wip, i will be releasing his sprites also later on in april

shao khan has a skeleton mask..you should try and work on that..all around this is quite exciting.

in the games, the mask only covers up to his nose, his mouth is visible.

but overall, good advice. as i said i am still looking him over for anything missing so feel free to comment so far.

That mask looks like a skull to me . That's the first thing I noticed about this character . That the mask looked pretty accurate .

got rid of the boot problem(that is actually the color of the boot) put some underwear on him

i thought about it but shao kahn is more of a "action speaks louder than words" kind of guy. but i'll keep that in mind.

you gotta work on his legs. bison is wearing baggy pants. simply recoloring them just makes them look like flesh colored baggy pants, instead of kahns defined muscles.

hey AngelM.. I honestly don't think that's the color of legs.. but do whatever you want... In some of the screenshots you have already posted, it looks like you forgot to get rid of the pants details.. Everything else looks great, though..
