the nuisance of the DBZ characters

I find them increasingly annoying every time I'm either playing against them or even watching them. All they mostly do, is do a few attacks here and there, fly around, and most of all the time charge up leaving themselves completely free to attack on. Not just that it's just some of them are ridiculously powerful *cough* Nightmare *cough* Gogeta...just to name a few. I'm just making this thread to tell how much of a pain they can be, and why all of them never will be in my mugen roster again.

ah i hate that. you want to watch a cool ai batttle you pick 2 dbz chars. and watch them charge for 15 min even when their power is full

I would remove the charge completely so they would give it up and actually fight.

If you want fair, balanced DBZ characters, Choujin's guys are what you want.

he's either refferring to the hi res Goku and Vegeta WIP by that guy who did the hi res megaman or the DBZGTeam chars, which are most definitely gonna be awesome.

I dont really base my roster of a chars A.I. cause if I did I would not have that many dbz chars or any others for that matter..... I go off how good I can use them cause that is really what matters.....watch mode is just for fun

After reading this I went and noticed I had very few characters from DBZ. I had Gulthors highly annoying Nightmare Broli SSJ3, Necromancers Broli, and Choujins Cell. I normally only play against unrealistically hard AIs or cheapies, and most DBZ characters dont seem to rate that.

Nuisance?  Very yes.

Time after time again I see DBZ characters that have 100-hit combos, or beam supers that do way too much damage, or stupidly coded moves & horrifically bad sprites.  The few DBZ characters that are actually good (aside from Choujin's) are unrequestable, and if you try to request them you get a giant proverbial middle finger from the author as well as most of the general community.  What a friendly gesture, telling you to "screw off" when you ask for a decent Vegeta.  It's not that the character's unrequestable it's that people are riding the bandwagon of DBZ hate.

Though, most of the problems I encounter with DBZ character is that so many are said to have "stolen code" when I see that most of them are obviously so poorly coded in general that you'd have to be a complete dip to not allow people to request it.  Simply because the base is poorly coded to begin with!

my big problems with the DBZ characters are
a) most of the sprites are very poor (or samll  )
b) most of them suck, big time
c) most of the time you have people looking for or making DBZ characters that are like "Teh Nightmarez SSJover9000!" type characters instead of looking for the cool ones like Choujin's stuff

Remember that Majita made a few DBZ chars that are also balanced...C-16 is one of them...let`s not forget about Stig87,who converted Trunks and SM`s Super Boo into Choujin style...
Some of the medium sized dbz chars are not that cheap...Bardock`s just have a tough AI

Choujin does have the best DBZ chars right now, but I'm waiting for that one guy's cell shaded Goku and Vegeta. + I can't wait for that DBZ/GT project to release a beta (the project with the Capcom style DBZ chars), The DBAF characters are okay but the characters are unbalanced.  :-\ It's hard to fight Goku with Goku Jr.

The sprites were based on the manga, and was in some Japanese only arcade game.  So that's the reason they don't look like the anime, because they're based on the manga.

You saw it coming man...Toskomics did an awesome job with this goku,it´s his best creation up to now(second will be the decent beta of Megaman.EXE and third,could be the MegamanX for X7)
His gameplay is rather easy,he combos pretty well,FX aside(which are one of the best stuff i´ve ever seen since Dragon Claw )
Many ppl say this could be a nominee to a char of the month/year award

Excluding 1 or 2, its the best goku ive seen so far
