Stage has been updated. Now feels more complete.

12/10/2008: Version 2.2 - Tweaks, Delta Fixes, and New Rain

This stage has been in the works, for a better fix, on the deltas, and a nuber of other things. So, this is listed as follows.

1. Stage received a new rain image, thanks to Teros from InfinityMugenTeam, for providing some better looking rain effects. Since
the stage was in need of some new rain anyway

2. The problem in the previous version of this stage, regarding the bug on the right of this stage, has been resolved. The stage
in general, will now act like a normal stage should. Without the characters 'going through the wall", or without the projectiles
staying on the right side of the stage.

3. Added the Blackjack trick on the two main foreground items on the stage. Which is the palm trees. And made the clouds go
higher. Though I'm considering some better looking cloud sprites. Only time will tell.

4. Due to update #2 in this list, was able to correct a bit more of the mid-level super jump for this stage. Characters will not
leave the screen, until the camera stops moving upwards. Though I still need to improve on it, much like the M.C.B.R. Stage, it
will take some time to correct that issue. For now, it's at a proper height, based on my standards.

What's left: possible background items, to make this stage come to life a bit more. If time permits it, I may try to get some lightning effects
going for this stage. but I'm not going to push my luck. If anyone else finds a flaw, that could be corrected, and made into another
possible version release. Then I'll go for it. Otherwise, this stage is a bit more complete, at Version 2.2

Wow, arcade meets Awesome.

Even after having the chance to see the prelims to this stage, I'm shocked at how well this is.

Thanks. This is one stage, that I wanted to make different, from all the other stages I've made, up to this point. Trying to find a base for Punisher was not easy. So it took a while to finally come up with the concept of using one of the Arcade stages, as a base.

The Clouds, Chopper & Fog were all last minute additions to this stage, believe it or not. But overall, I'm pretty satisfied with the way & direction this stage has taken. I haven't been making stages that long, but I've got enough imagination to try my best.

I'm pleased to know, this stage is showing it's own results.

Really cool looking stage, I just watched the video. This stage will get added to my game tonight.

I had a similar issue that you had with the fireball you showed in the video. Metalman's Wily castle did the same thing originally with Metalman's blades, if you want to check out the Wily Castle stage maybe it might help you fix it. That is if it's the same issue.

That sounds like a real good idea. I'll have to check it out. Hopefully that will solve the problem. At the same time, I'm already in the works of retouching the palm trees, and adding in some rain, on this stage. So far, this is what I got, on the rain part.

Once I can align it, when someone does a super jump, get knocked in the air, or plain fly & When R@CE finishes the trck that will be made for this stage, I'll update it, by placing two DEF files in the zip file for it. One will have the original look for it, ad the City Hunter track to play on it. The other will have the remixed back wall mural that aristotle & aPoC came up with, and the proper track for punisher. It will be done similar to what I did, for the Moon Beach 2008 Stage, after the Rain was added in it.

Well Apoc and Dark Valentine, i just got thru with the Punisher's Theme For EOH and boy it is a real good one.....

I based it off of the Punisher's theme that he had on the movie, here listen

Its starts off that way, then i dropped the beat and switched and up and turn that lil mug side ways, and flipped it, and made a hot new EOH track for you guys....

Apoc and Dark Valentine, check your pms i sent the track to both of you guys

Once the rain has been added in, and the palm tree parts are corrected in both layers, I'll put up the update for the stage. Again, it will be done, in the style of my Moon Beach 2008 Stage.

Dude i congratulate you on this amazing stage.

You have shown me ways on how to make stages look more interesting then they are.

Right now i am working on a SOR2 stage and i am making a vid of its progress. I want you to check it out and see what you think. I still have more to do with it.

All it takes on making a stage, is just more than having a touch of originality to it. You have to treat a stage like a video. You've got to breathe live imagination into it.

That's what I've done with all of my videos & stages. But this is the first stage I really put hard work into. With extra support, to keep it alive.

Hello everybody, Darkvalentine will be updating his stage download with my update of my track for The Punisher's stage for EOH... I now have 2 versions, one that is normal, and another one that has rain fx added to it... It sounds so good, but anyway.... Enjoy

Yeah, I really wanted to make this stage, worthy to any fan of Punisher, by any means necessary. And the arcade look, was the way to go. This stage can be improved more, and it can be taken to the next level. But until then, it will still be a Beta 2.0 release. Although, the stage & way it plays, says otherwise

I'm hoping the final product for this, will also be worth it. once things get more in the clear. Between now, and the release of the EoH project, I may update some more things in a visual sense. But that has yet to be determined. Not bad for a stage made in 17 hours XD

It's just my imagination running as wild as the videos I make.

yeah, it has actually. It was packed with the stage itself, thanks to Aristotle & aPoC.

Open the def file, and look for the following line below.

[bg terrace] ;<Default Spriteno = 2,0 (Original); 2,1 = (aPoCRemix)
type = normal
spriteno = 2,0 ; or 1
start = 0, 0
layerno = 0
delta = 1, 1.2
mask = 1

just switch it from 2,0 to 2,1 and you'll get the mural with Punisher's timeline, on the wall. This was a better idea than to have two def files, that had a rain & no rain effect, much like my Moon Beach 2008 stage.
