do you guys have ideas to add helpers, which one, i remember he was friend with batgirl? BUT THEN WHAT: BATMAN? what do you want to see, because it would look stupid if you fight batman?no?
and then what should they do?? i m open to all suggestions.

Hmm, this was one of my fav chars... for helpers you can have Nomoz the lil dwarf guy, Sister Lilhy and Brian Bryan!! Gonna do like 6 of the different costumes he had in his 100 wonderful issues??  [-O<

He really wasnt Batman's friend, Bats actually tried to kill him more than once but got his butt kicked. I would say if he was friends with anyone it most likely would be The Huntress.

I think it'd be awesome if for a hyper (a beat up special, maybe.?) he would turn into Azbat. That'd be really bad @$$.

I did Azrael's walk this week because the old one was pretty quirky . I didn't do that cape or finish the shading on some of the sprites , I thought Jason might want to do that . He wants me to finish it up though . I have to get some stuff done for Robin first , but here's the movement he will have

I'll show more shots of it with the shading & cape once I get them done .

DarkTalbain:

I want to show you something. In the following gif, this is a shot of Iceman in Fighter Factory. I opened up the guidlines (Show>GuideLines) and notice the way I crossed them on the front edge of his waist and just above the belt. I used this as a reference point when aligning the sprites. Also, notice the 2nd half of the gif when I move the horizontal line to the bottom of his feet. I made every attempt to make sure that Iceman (and Cutman) never dipped above or below this set spot. This is what makes him "walk" (or skate) on level ground as well as it looking somewhat smooth with no jittering. You should use this as reference when you animate anything. It will definitely work wonders.

This is the final result. This is an animation of Iceman actually walking (running) and not skating like I eventually changed to when I released him. He does not jitter back or forth and looks clean in terms of animation.

Hope this helps you a little. :-SS

That is useful advice . So other than the sprite alignment , do the animations look allright ?

It's missing 1 or 2 more frames. Other than that, it turned out great

Wow , I still need more frames . I made 12 for that walk . How many sprites are usually in a walk to make it move smoothly ?

Not many and 12 should be fine, but if the body (arms/legs/head etc) don't all move little by little and make a drastic move from one position to another, it throws off the smoothness. I would say 6 or 7 minimum would make a smooth animation. Anything more make it that much better.   ;)

I'll see how it looks after we line up the sprites , then I will be able to tell more what to add . I definately have 12 sprites so it should be enough for a smooth animation .

Thanx Excursion .
