Another One of My W.I.P.S (Symbiote Ken)

Symbiote Ken Back Story (Takes place after SF2 but before SF3):

With the defeat of M.Bison after competing in the SF2 Tournament, Ken Masters returns to New York City to train for his next encounter with Ryu. Unbeknownst to Masters, the Venom Symbiote leaving a cancer ridden Eddie Brock, has been looking for a new host to occupy. While training in his custom built dojo, (from the days where Ryu and he used to train together under the tutorage of Gouken) the Venom Symbiote senses the burning rage of Ken Masters who is obsessed with besting his friend and fellow student, Ryu and overtakes him.  Ken awakens passed out from the ordeal on the dojo floor with no remembrance of the event that just occurred.  While training Ken feels a heightened sense of speed and agility as well as power.  Ken aggressively increases his training focusing on besting Ryu.  Suddenly the Symbiote begins to cover his body reacting to Ken's thoughts about Ryu.  Shocked, Ken wonders where this creature came from. Ken can somehow sense that this creature does not want to harm him and wants only to bond with him.  Ken realizes with his new found abilities he can defeat finally defeat Ryu.

Notes:
* Symbiotes empower the natural abilities of a host to the point where they far exceed that of normal members of the host's species however, after bonding with Masters, the Venom Symbiote is now immune to fire and that his fire powers are increased ten fold.

He is not going to have the Venom symbol.  Someone suggested to me that when the symbiote bonds to it's host it takes their traits and multiplies them times whatever or something like that.  So he will retain some of Venom's core elements but will have a completely new symbol. (I already have one in mind.) Also, the few images that I have are just to show that I have other W.I.P.S.  Rugal is still my MAIN focus at the moment! However, I am stuck on exactly what I wanted to do with the face, someone suggested that I make the shoto belt white (as part of the symbiote) and make the hair white and just leave the face alone. That sounds good.

Personally I think he should have the symbol because everytime Venom attaches to something the symbol is kept on.
(Symbiote Spiderman, Venom, She-Venom, Scorpion as Venom, etc).
That's just me though. I mean it would seem kind of odd that he wouldn't have the symbol after all the people that he's latched on to.
I think Symbiote Ken is an awesome idea!

oh man thats a kick @$$ character. i congratulate you . in mi opinion it should have the symbol, and it would be cool to just leave it all black and make his mouth like venom, you know, the tongue, fangs and everything.

he has a web that fills the screen(like venom does) and traps the opponent then he can do his uppercut/hurricane kick or super fireball?
web spear that brings the opponent towards him like scorpion and he can dragon punch him?

why does it have to be venom anyways.....have some creativity, use the carnage, lasher or riot symbiote instead. no one has done that yet!

I dont think you need a Spider symbol since its symbiote Ken, not Venom Ken. Venom was the only Symbiote to use the spider symbol since Spidey was oggeling Spider Woman 2 at the time. No other symbiote has ever used it. I do however think you need the eyes and mouth to look look like a symbiote since thats a trait they all share. I would keep the Gi black, but the skin I would add differant shades to make the symbiote skin apparant.

When it was called Symbiote Ken, I initially thought it was supposed to be like Symbiote X (Cancelled) and Symbiote Onslaught which both used the venom suite (I mean it would make sense since this Ken is using the alpha sprites, which most mvc characters use). It's just the symbiote without the spider, just looks rather unattractive. The only time I've seen Venom without the white spider was in the Ultimate Spiderman game, and he looks like crap without the spider.
As far as the eyes and the mouth, everybodies was a bit different. Carnage's face was black, and you couldn't see his teeth. Just what looked like the shape of teeth, and the inside of his mouth was pink (spider-carnage had an orange mouth for some reason),
Lashers face was black, but he didn't have a mouth, Screams face was black like carnage's, but her mouth was white. 
Agony's face was like venom. Phage was like Scream, with the white mouth, but he had spikes all over his body.
Riot, was just a recolored Venom, and without the white symbiote.

I cant speak for other people Wips but they all should have Spiderman looking eyes, and sharp teeth, and a carnivorous mouth. Differant artists might have differant takes on how its drawn, but that is the general look for a symbiote. However i think people have kinda imbelished on the whole symbiote thing in Mugen.

Not necessarily, the symbiotes also mimick the persons clothes, it doesn't always cover the bearer. So really you might not have to recolor him although I suppose you might want it apparent he has a symbiote. In that case a symbol is needed and since symbiots also borrow memories and latent talent it would make since for the spider to be there. If you need any ideas for moves and whatnot I'd be happy to help.

Still taking suggestions for Ken and who should be the symbiote but, whatever I chose I don't think that I'll be able to please everyone out there.
Just for the record, I chose Ken because mainly I am a Ken fan and for the whole "symbiote palette" thing that was going on in Mugen for a while, I thought Venom would be the best choice. As for the whole originality comment,  I try not to rehash too much of anything in my W.I.P.S and create ALOT of custom spriting. If you have the time and patience to make a "crossover" character then be my guess. Hummm...Super Sayian Wolverine...

Those are some great pics.  Hmmm...thinking. Toxin is growing on me. I am not too sure of all his powers though.  (If you can inform me of the differences. Also, was he the one that the host took over and made to be good?

i dont think thatll be that tight cause toxin is a good guy...we want bad!    try riot's symbiote.  his symbiote is grey, and is kinda like carnage's but he shapes to heavy objects like hammers, maces etc.  instead of sharp objects like blades and axes

I didnt suggest Toxin for his heroism. Hell, I just found out about him a few months ago. I just brought him up cuz he's another symbiote & for his colors.
