I started here:

I lost interest

. I decided to revisit this thing after finding it on my HDD a few days ago.

Now I'm here:

If ANYONE knows the proper way to do GET HIT animations, please....PM me. Because I REALLY suck at it.

If anyone cares...Updates:

1)Tweaked some attack animations
2)Added two new Win poses
3)Added a powercharge move (Taps into the Speed Force)
4)Added a new taunt
5)Tweaked the jump animation
6)Made the rest of the pallets so he has twelve now.
7)Added a new intro.

Balanced his moves so he couldn't spam those super fast punches and kicks. He can still do some decent combos though.
9) Added some new sounds. He didn't even have a sound file before. Now he does.

Things to do:
1).....damn Get Hit animations (HELP!!!

)
2)Supers
3)Finish the sounds (That's easy, I can leave that as the last thing to do.)
3)Just about everything else I can think of. Throws, etc.

Honestly, the animations look really choppy. But dont fret, they're not as bad as Shazam's (

First of all can you sprite edit? Second where are you getting the sprites are you ripping them or is the creator of D fighter revolution supplying them? Lastly don't give up and if you lose interest find some.

No offense Razzy , but are you just trying to edit The Madcooks JSA Flash ? The first few videos look like his early version . Then your next few videos look just like his later version with the shadow effect on the punches & everything . I can upload this exact same character right now !

DFighters sprites are open source (except the sprites of the people who made the characters,Superman,Batman,Catwoman,ect.)
Currently There are 3 chars of JSA Flash (Jay Garrick) Madcooks' (sucks) Slotman (ok) and Yours

I'll answer your questions in order.

1) I can't sprite edit. ( As in frankenspriting & recoloring and shading. ) I've tried it with limited success. I could learn though.
2) I already got permission to use the D Fighter Revolution Sprites when I first started this character. So that isn't a problem.

NO! NO ! NO!

Everything that you see in those Videos has been done 100% by ME. With the exception of the sprites and sounds (which are open source) i have coded and animated everything you see there. I'm proud of that too, even if it isn't that good.

Oh, and thanks for the posts guys! I'll gladly answer any more questions.

your flash is fine
i mean the sprites can be improved and the shadings
but the moves are ok i like the win pose and the intros

Youre wrong. G.M changed his mind about D Fighter's sprites. Now you can only use his if you ask permission. Which he did apparently, so hes ok

it feels the same to me, and you could have at least use the last version where i had to draw all these little wings on his boots, and make the helmet shining

How the hell did you get GM Spectre's permission ? I was going to totally redo his Poison Ivy & he was going to give me permission . I started redrawing all the sprites & then I got a PM from him one day on Youtube . He stated that too many other people were making bad mugen characters using his D Revo sprites & he changed his mind . So I quit on her .

Do you guys want me to make him or not? I got these sprites a LONG time ago. And at the beginning of the project I asked him for his permission OK! The fact that he has changed his mind since then has NOTHING to do with me. If he personally contacts me and says stop using my sprites then I will NOT release the character ok. The Mugen community has an understanding. It is that if someone says don't use their sprites, it means don't use their sprites and then release whatever you make to the public. So if he says no, then I might just quit, or I'll keep making him but I won't release him.

And, what version is this? The only working version of this character I've seen and used is the one from the D Fighter engine. That's it.
I think I saw another one on Youtube too. Can't remember though.

You asked, GM said yes, and that should be the end of that.
Like you said, if he changed his mind than he'll let you know.

Well, if another person makes any source material that you use for your character or stage or creation, then you should ask for that person's "permission" to use their work in order to complete yours. And you should acknowledge them and give them credit when you complete your creation.

Sorry if that still sounds complicated.
