i think abyss can take magneto.

thats true but we don't even have that much info on abyss to really class him.

capcom didnt make magneto nearly as strong as he really is hes like 10 times stronger than da one on da capcom games

Well, Capcom could just as easily begin to create many characters that are as strong as Galactus.
You havn't mentioned Darkstalkers?! Jedah could kill of people. And for Marvel don't just use badguys. The Xmen would have trouble defeating some capcom characters.

But when you throw in a character that can't be defeated, I think they shouldn't count. (MY oppinion)

The rest of the DS. Donovan, Demitri, Victor, Jon Talbain, Morrigan, Pyron.

They are the stronger characters in there.

But Marvel would still win because of the Infinity gauntlet, Gill isn't God/Jesus

    Gill is VERY powerful, storylinewise.  He can also create fire and ice
out of nowhere, and he can UN-create fire and ice, too (creation and
uncreation is also supposed to represent how he is supposed to be like a
god).  Fire and ice are his two elements.  Originally, his two elements
were meant to be light and darkness, but Capcom changed that because they
figured that red and blue (fire and ice) would be better for showing off
the Street Fighter 3 graphics engine.  And because they were having too
much trouble with making light and darkness graphics.  Hrm...

    He can also ressurect himself, even from death (if something ever
somehow manages to kill him in the first place).  And even then, his
organization, like Shadaloo, also makes back-up bodies for him (you can see
one in Urien's Third Strike ending, too).  Though his organization makes
much better back-up bodies than Shadaloo did, so no "Gill being in a new
weaker body" for Gill.  And his soul is immortal, like M. Bison's.  ...yea,
he's really powerful.

He can ressurect himself, but he is just Illuminati leader...whose SOUL is immortal, not the guy himself, and his other powers are the fire and ice thing

Okay even though I am more of a capcom fan, than a marvel fan I think lets just be completely honest here.  Super heroes against Video game characters is not far.  Video game characters are made to make games playable comics have no such limits.  Only by expanding the contest to Comics VS Games would it even begin to make since.  Allowing characters from Freedom Force/City of Hereos and MMO games, and sure numbers who help but in the longrun the strength of the superhereos would win out.  As far as Marvel vs Capcom, I don't think your Silver Surfer, Thanos types would even fill the need to show up to the battle
