Pretty sweet rendition and work.

Mega Man X seems too thin, almost feminine. His legs should get thicker getting nearer to hi romp (especially his right leg). Also his chest, torso and shoulders could all really be broader.

Sorry if I offended, the goal was to help.

Look at Mega Man's upper legs, one is really thicker than the other. I never noticed that in the game, but even if it was, my opinion is that doesn't really help the sprite.

In the game I noticed Mega Man carries his arms almost next to his shoulders, like they hang next to it instead of inside the armor, instead of the neat look you gave him with the arms actually linking perfectly with his armor, though the trick used with the 3D model did make him appear broader in build. But since you aren't using the 3D model as a constrictor but only as a helper, I figure you could give him that same look with far less cheating.
