IMT Project Announcement - Robot Master Mayhem

One of the major things about this project is that we've got Team Reploid with us on this.

"Project-XR" now has a name and new location, but still the same talented group working on it plus more new additions.

Like Trasgo said, keep an eye out for the new section.

Personally, and I feel many others feel this way, how about a change in hit sparks? Seeing as EOH uses CvS2 sparks maybe this one could use different effects? I understand this project is still under construction.

Hopefully can get to download it soon so that I could start working on the trailer/teaser video for this.

I did some game mod trailers/teasers too for some other online communities too, but those are not fighting-oriented style games anyway...

I would suggest anyone interested in creating as a part of this project to wait until we throw out a few treats before getting too deep into the programming.  ;)

Well, I certainly noticed that.

In fact, I wasn't aware of this project coming here until I came today! :o

How interesting.  ^-^ That way, all those of us at the IMT will be able to bask in the glory of robot masters and Megaman chars that didn't make it into EOH. Exclusivity has its advantages!

That said...Rush is playable!?  /:O Then again, Servbot is playable, so...yeah. His brand-new Hyper Adapter hyper doesn't look half bad.  :thumbsup: Who's doing Rush?

Is Mega Man still gonna have that stupid mule-kick that made me break my keyboard out of sheer frustration?  If so, I suggest that someone modify it to where he at least lets you land before trying to attack again.  Other than that, I'll probably love this game.

Cool project! I see you have most of the characters including... Galaxyman? He's gonna be in this project? In MvC Style? That kinda caught me off guard, but if so, I suggest you remake his select icon so ppl won't get the wrong idea.

I didn't know it was his launcher; I fought him multiple times in Arcade Mode on normal MUGEN and he used that move on me six times in a row and didn't let me land in between attacks.  This happened about 4 times in one match and it agitated me so much that I slammed my fists onto the keyboard and knocked off about 5 keys (fortunately, I was able to find and reattach them).  I eventually beat him only to get killed 5 matches later by an overpowered Super Buu from DBZ.

My only concern about the mule kick in Robot Master Mayhem is that Megaman may spam it on opponents and make the experience frustrating for first-time MUGEN players.

I understand your frustration, but that was a bug in a much older version of Chaotix's Megaman.  It was a slight coding bug, and has since been fixed.  I have played with said Megaman for some time, and he is vastly improved.  I reccomend that you look in the "Infinity Release" section for Chaotix's Megaman version 2.XX or whatever, because the problem is fixed and he just feels like a much better character in general.

Pretty much. ChAoTiC started Team Reploid so he could focus on that on the side of S:MvC but since S:MvC (hopefully) finally on it's way out, it's only natural to re-consolidate resources and forces.
