don't know that's what makes it a good roster, people could spend hours debating who would win between goku and silver surfer or sonic and quick silver! that's what makes a good game not to have one sided cross overs like blade vs ALUCARD or pekachu VS THOR

depends on who's fighting who you can't say one's better then the other because both have there heavy hitters. But yes you obviusly would not match pekachu agaisnt thor. that was an example of a stupid and bad match up based solely on there eletric abiltys. thus why god mode belldandy was chosen power wise they should be pretty close and they both have some similaritys in power as well as origin like both being higher beings or gods if you will.

Well it's been a couple days again and still no body has offered more ideas so I think I'm going to use blade and alcuade for the final if there's no objections.

if your trying to make a game with new chars do you have a template, how about effects, sounds, lifebars, screen pack or at least ideas for any of those

on another note your basically doing one comic company against many maybe you should do like shonen jump vs marvel you could get

of cool matchups outta that other wise how bout east vs west and include dc as well as some other comic companies

I'm not sure how this would work really. Most of the characters that come out of Japan have comic books or manga. Hell Sakura Kusagano has her own comic book which is why, i think marvel and capcom got together in the first place.

well I supose you could do all of comicdom IE marvel, dc, image, darkhourse ect vs anime but at that point it may aswell just be mugen in general, it's to many cheracters and not a specific theme. on the other hand if you were to do marvel vs only a specific anime there wouldn't be much in varity at all and not enough cheracters to compete against marvels wide range cheracters with different abiltys.

maybe marvel vs anime isn't the best cross over of all time but it's what I'm working with and it's difficult to draw perfect crossovers in such a battle anyways since both worlds are so uniqe and different from the other.

Sorry for thos who don't like it but this is what I'm going for, I personaly think it will be great and this isn't a thread about "lets combine other comic companys with this and so on"

I guess as long as your selections in characters and stages are unique to the crossover. You should be all good.

Here's a screenpack idea I made tonight. I's not the best but maybe it could give someone some ideas. I know a lot of anime have their own comics, but generally they're known for the show they belong to, and when people think of comics, they usually think of marvel and dc, and a few others. So that is why it says "Anime vs Comics" instead of "Anime vs Marvel" I'd probably make the screenpack myself, but I'm already making a marvel vs dc one right now. Anyways, enjoy.

on a side note what about using vampire hunter d vs blade, but Alucard from hellsing he cant die like blade can man he was reduced to a pile of blood and still came back unless you guys are thinking of a different one that i dont know about

Yea we'll probably end up useing blade in the final two since no one can think of a good match for naruto. I'm thinking of useing arcuade as his opponet though. and yea your right alucard from hellsing is far to powerful for him.

Ok here's the player list thus far things are pretty set here and unless some kind of comlication occures this will probably be the final set

Goku (ssj) vs Silver surfer

Belldandy (god mode) vs thor

Guyver vs Ironman

Tetsuo vs Jean grey (non phenix)

golgo 13 or Vash the stampeed (undicided) vs the punisher

Birdy the mighty vs she hulk

quick silver vs sonic

blade vs arcueid

one thing though is that it hasn't been decided weather or not it will be golgo 13 or vash to face the punisher. Need opinions on this one.

Also I need some one here to commit to making a screen pack I know theres people on this thred that can atleast do that.

I'm not sure what you mean by "ubercable" as far as I knew he was just a guy that used many futuristic weapons but I see a slight comapison because he has that arm that goes crazzy.

Punisher is either fighting go gol 13 or vash no one's comented on that one yet

blade and vash I see no comparison

quick silver and rock lee actually sounds really cool but I'm pretty much set with sonic now.
