Having Problems with Transparency and Stages
« on: August 02, 2008, 11:17:54 AM »
I've been trying to understand why this purple transparency stuff shows up in the stage, even though it shouldn't be. I told it to have mask = 1, I tried many things, but it's not working.

It shows up as this:

What's the deal here?

If you can, can someone post a reliable method to prevent this?

open the sff in fighter factory click the tool for selecting a color from the image which is pink here. Then you go to the the grid to the right and click the bottom-right most black tile. Save.

I think that is how it is done.

I do know that it is the proper way to do it but I think I got a idea.

Change the pink to the color 0 black(make sure it is the color 0). Then if there is any black change them to a lighter black. See mode --> Index to make sure it is 256 colors. Save as pcx and replace old sprite.

I hope that helps. :)
