ok i will make normal lifebars, and then good colored ones...
got the font to work, so progress should move faster...

just a suggestion but u should change the time font and the hyper taunt to the same one as marvel super heroes vs sf and also the name font should be a little bigger other than that lookin good so far

i know, those parts are the leftovers of my other lifebars...
i think i will do all the fonts last...
except for the numbers for the time font, that is next on my list...

in my opinion you should make it the way you like it, most of the time we try to mimic and make it look like the official, but why? when it can be better or improve. don't forget the designer of that lifebar is just a normal person like you and i. Lets not be blind by our love for capcom and like everything they release, cause personally their lifebar can be improve.

That's my thought on that, Don't take it personal, im not anti capcom.

agreed. I dont really like when people tell me "thats not accurate" or "its supposed to be this way"

Thanks Eternaga, but i already said, i make the original bars first, then add or subtract from them to make them better...
i do this, cause i need something to start with, or they end up looking really weird :-\

ok guys im having a problem...
Here is What Happens when i put this in the time section...

which is obviously wrong... so i moved it to the lifebars section and now i got this...

its better, but is there a way that i can keep it in the time section and have it behind the lifebars???
oh yeah, i know i have to resize some stuff but that is not important at the moment...

what you can do is cut the time sprite in 2
merge each to the 2 portraits grids so that its both underneath the lifebar
also thats pervents further problems when making 2 vs 2 and turns battle
and set timer to layerno =2 to make it on top of the timer sprite

not to hijack this thread but back in the ol infinity forums i made a help topic in there and noone helped plus you look like and experienced spriter with lifebars. so here is my problem, when i had the damage lifebar piece it does not show notmatter what i do how do i solve this? I have set it to all different types of group numbers but cant get it to show up can i get some help or someone pm me with the answer i can always send the lifebars to you.

Ok guys i have a new screenshot of the lifebars...

i finished the combo/ winner font this morning, but forgot to back it up... i have the fnt file, but can i somehow extract the pcx i made to edit it... i feel really stupid accidentally deleting it...

i have made lots of progress lately, only needing to make win icons to finish, but i have one problem before i start with those...
i have the win animation correct, but does anyone know how to make it do the animation and have the characters names showing???
