With Joker I plan on reprogramming his commands, fixing a couple bugs, and combo's, adding an air projectile, maybe a few other things.

That's good because when I tried him out, a lot of his moves didn't make much sense command wise.  I checked his command list and they were cluuuutered.  Three commands were for the same super, double fireball command for one super, single fireball motion for an other, two buttons pressed for yet another, etc.  It was just randomness, all over.   :-??

Yet it doesnt play with all that variation. I think some of what you saw were old commands for Savage Reign that have been disabled. I'm not a perfectionist when it comes to the script. I'm really not out to impress anybody by having a perfectly clean CMD, or Sprite file, I just want him to work well in game play, and thats what im going to fix. As long as I get the MvC style perfected with Combos, and commands for the moves thats all I care about. Im sure though some of that stuff will be cleaned up.

Fresh new beta updated as of 8/27/09


Revamped to MVC AI, command style. Joker was overhauled code wise. While he is still SNK style a lot more detail was added to the face, and body, as well as added frames the shoes seperated from the suit colors. Harley was removed as a helper since she is a seperate character and many moves were added to replace her role.

As always I know most people prefer MVC and thats okay, I understand completely. It is on our agenda to convert, however it was important to get Joker to a place where code, and animation wise that any future sprite work has a solid base to work from. This is just the beginning of Jokers transformation, but I felt it was solid enough to share. In the meantime for the fans of MVC Scruffy has a great Joker out there you can download. Spiderbat has his vision of Batman, and I have mine of Joker. They may or may not be as good as others but it's a vision we enjoy working on.

Big thanks to Bdcirk, Zvitor for the help, and tutoring me on this release. (testers please update for improvement)
