Awakened Terry EX V2 Beta coming soon

Beta is being tested as we speak but i plan to release V2 fairly soon. V3 will be the Final Cut and there will be no more. Stuff in the video are heavily subject to either change or be upgraded & touched up (hit sparks etc). Infact stuff have already been done. The other version some of you seen in some past videos will never be released. It was just a frankenstein and a template for when i start over and to have somethin to flow with on the Offcial clean Revamp.


Ight the Things fixed from the very first rushed beta release are
-Palettes are now fixed (meaning he has different colors now Finally!)
-Smaller normal file (i didnt know u had to crop before )

Way more moves:
-Added 3 forms of each special (Weak/Medium/Heavy)

-burn knuckle

-Power wave

-rising tackle

-crack shoot (now also can be done in the air)

-Other specials have been added also not mentioned at this time

-5 supers so far developed

-"Super Cancels" text added in


Im working on all these Things to be in the final cut 100%:

-Normal supers Lvls 1 & 2 (blue Back background & bogard eyes)

-Lvl 3 supers (Red background & bogard eyes)

-Revenge supers (Red background with wolf)
Basically these are supers that will happen when our energy is low
and at full power

-Ex Attacks

-Custom combo trigger.

-"Dream Cancel" text happens when you cancel into a Revenge super

-Charge up ability

-Air pop up and attacks. This is somethin that i hope i can finally get right

Yeh BUT! what i sent u a good while ago is a bit "less" then whats going on with em now. way less. More fixes add ons n such. I was using that "zoom effect" you see in the supers and i wanted it to come off better and i know u did a character or two using that if i remember right. But i figured it out anyway and made it work just fine.



anyway peeps the V2 i want to really get released later this month if all goes well with my time. Then the final update a lil after that then im done with that Terry and on to Ryo CVS. i would do ken but there are too many of those so ill prolly do that another time

Update: 9/22/10

Not quite polished yet but this is my new idea for the Super Whirlwind attack taken from the Fatal Fury 2 anime battle with Kim and Terry by the docks. The video capture is slightly off in speed and there is a final hit sound. it just didnt happen during that attemp from the Typhoon attack.

The Wolf power will be a lvl 3 and slightly weaker & changed just a bit. There will be a return of the unreleased version's super for the Revenge super. Exactly as so here minus the blue hyper FX


And yes The Geyser Quake will return also but i have a new idea on how that works i just have to observe how to pull it off how
i really want it this time with an edge

Hopefully at the end of this month The V2 version should be ready to go..

Thanks Lando on the props . The more i learn the better ill get . Im not on Vyns or @ndroides level yet but im gettin there bit by bit. I have The Fatal Fury anime series to thank for the inspiration and this Comic series (which i have all) right here





 

If you dont have this series in a stash of comics (this is hard novel btw) You are Bull Sh*ttin & playin games
Any fan of the whole CVS or SVC bit with Snk & Capcom will love the comic hands down. A lot of surprises of whos actually stronger than who and who comes out on top. Bad @ss art work. id love any posters of the art. The same artist (i believe Korean) who did the Storm Riders comics (art style). All this needs is a short anime series with a tight artist. Maybe testuo (Hakuto) or the artist of Vampire hunter D blood lust. dunno somethin raw and gritty ...

well i am buying but the thing is if i can actually find them in the comic book store shelves. i mean i have no clue exactly how far back does these comics series go and when did they come out? ya know how of book stores start to exit out certain comics after  a quite amount of time passes. So when i go this weekend or next weekend to the local mall i will see if they still carrying them or do i have to order them. but yeah i gotta see and read about the battles. sounds interesting.

???yeh thats the thing the line up started in i believe late 2004 & the last copy issue i got was like in 2007 er somethin.
But maybe in stores they still have it. i usually go to midtown comics and Jim henleys big comic store in Manhattan.

Thanks man. steve youre a smart guy cuz thats what i wanted to do with lily a good while ago since a member at Mugen evolution brought it to my attention But im not too savvy with sprite edits and prepping yet . Two ideas were Her ghost shows up standing in front of him and as he hold his hat tilted and the wind blows with a rose slowly breezing by. Thats a win state. The other was in a Final super. Just before When he does his huge wolf power a Image of Lily flashes on the screen in a hyper state screaming "Terrrrry!!" (in an echo). Kinda like how Kenshiros Fatal super was in a mugen character i saw. Recently i was trying to find a decent Anime cell image of Lily like i did his other portraits to use but no luck on it


As for SVC comics it should be. I mean as much as i hear about Torrent and how cool it is i would think there would be some internet books on the series

That last animation where he says "Yeah!" is all apart of the super once it connects. At random he says "Yeah!" or "Thats Right!!".
I edited the "Wolf power" voice to say "Go Bang". Wolf power will be used in the Revenge super im now creating called Ultimate wolf power

Super Buster wolf is a Level 3 super

Super Power Geyser is a Level 3 super

And yes there will be Lvl 1 & 2 supers and the Hyper FX will be different

awww oh well i tried. but using a scene from the movie for an ending would be awesome. that has to be of work. hmmm giving me ideas as well. but hey this is going to be the best terry out there  . cant wait to play  him and hurricane beatdown all my mugen roster. great job so far. keep it up man.

Hmm not a bad idea ..well if i find a mugen character with that chick ill use it. i could of had a real hot lookin Basara last month but the author broke the link at this japanese forum i randomly found . Seriously steve this basara looked kick @ss ...so im sure the author did a number on the Fx...

and nah ill make sure she doesnt go to bones . Ill use her well...As for those characters in the movie yeh they were dope . That movie gave me another idea for Terrys Charge up aura too. well pretty much the last fight when terry Awakened in Anger with that Blue Aura flowing all over em and him zipping around flying going crazy. i wanted to use a Hakuto no ken style Aura just like that (from the ps2 game) but it would have took much more than that and my sprite skills would have to be tight enough to construct that aura to terrys body form just right ...

Creating takes patience. just experiment your @ss off with different things and see how they tick. then ask questions and take notes. thats all i did. sometimes its hard to get answers so i do what i do best. Study & observe anothers creation. learn how they did it then see if i can do it. Trial n error but you get better that way haha

Anyway heres an example of those Auras (kinda like how Akumas aura FX Pose is)



And heres my newest Revenge super. Ultimate Wolf Power. There will be a 3rd and i wont speak on what it is..its major and hopefully i can pull it off. There will be 3 Revenge supers in totall. i made two so far which you see now..
They do severe damage. Power has to be at level 3 and you energy is majorly low.

 well your doing an awesome job man, this terry so far beats any version of him i ever had and seen. bonus is he seems more along the anime style which is how i always wanted him to be from the get go.  Ha i even had a super move in mind for him myself , straight from the anime too as well as an intro. great job demokai.

Yeh ill be adding in my intros from my old un released beta. Only a few. Others wont make it cuz i have something in mind with two of em. My main goal is to get a GGX style intro where him and Geese Howard Rush each other in a Flurry of attacks then knocking each other away. I plan to do my own Geese one day also.

But this was the first i made against Vyns Ken long ago cuz his ken (i dubbed Violent Ken) i admired a lot in its style and on point AI. thats why my last AI was so vicious. i was in a little competition with that one Ken char . Hes kick @ss on the Cpu tip!


(and yeh i added an "Idol" stance in that version)

WOW that was very cool intro with violent ken, i have him actually, my fav version of violent ken. never gettin rid of him. Its crazy cause that was my vision i had of an intro with geese and terry going at it. not exactly the way yours gonna be and your is wayy much better and cooler.  you must have put in of work to get all this put together and terry seems like he is going to be pretty tight gameplay wise. Well your light years ahead of me in creating department. I am still stuck on conecpt stage. i need like a spriting tablet or something. I heard there is one but its expensive.  cant wait to see whats next you got for terry.  you are doing justice to my favorite fighter of all time.

Thanks. Yeh just take your time with it. I dont know if you used to draw but i did a lot so this is like drawing for me. i kinda swapped Drawing to do this. Soon ill be messing with 3D once i reach my lil peak with this. I tried it once with 3D max and i did fairly ok. i can tell with time ill get it down packed.

Anyway all this stuff with terry comes to me when i see a new fighting game or im watching a movie. KOf XIII & the Karas Anime got me amped . But yeh Its like a flip book with creating. But dude if you get spriting down packed Like That and you learn to mess with codes?....its on!

i wanted to do a Mugen Character of Seig From Chaos legion with all his legions and Bionic commando Sprited like the Nes Design

oh no dont worry those names have been eaten on the plate since i first started my first terry v.1. beta ..
its all about patience . i had to get my skills up a bit to start trying new things. like i said theres a 3rd revenge super i have in mind and its dealing with one of those names and i wont say who until i get it right with the source code i have ...

But yeh that would be a cool mini Mugen game on Fatal fury. Mines was based on the SVC comic. But that would take a lot of work since i like a lot of FX in my characters. But ill be making a few based on that. Terry was first but ryo is the next one..

i hear ya loud and clear dude. i think this wekend coming or sometime this month i will free up some time to work on Jiro the kikaider. i just have to fnd the right sprites or i will just go all out hand drawn. of work.  heck i might require some asist from you with some concepts once i get going. doing of reading the tutorials on here and i found them to seem to be very helpful. once i learn to sprite good and animate, Mugen is going to have something to look forwrd to for sure. Your terry seems like he is going to be a beast! good lawd ! I am going to think about makin Jamin myself so i can go up against ya terry. its only fitting since they rivals in the anime movie.
