The video that was uploaded today was the part 2 of the tutorial itself. The second video was a "What if Deadpool killed Maximilian?" kind of stuff
Good tips for the ppl who don't know much about the game(like myself.I rarely play it because i don't have a 360/ps3)

A very intense Japanese Tournment. They're using combos I haven't seen anyone use before. Including a nice air combo with Spencer

So... I didn't think it was possible... but I bought the Rising Dead pack and both Ghost Rider AND Nemesis looks so much more cool with those alternate costumes! @_@

There was a minor UMvC3 update on XBox 360 this morning, anyone know what that was about? (I wonder if it was costume related.)

According to Niitsuma's twitter (https://twitter.com/ryota_niitsuma), it has nothing to do with balance.
You may be right Acey, since the update is only 19mb

Capcom posted a list of were all the H&H card locations
http://www.capcom-unity.com/brelston/blog/2012/02/03/ultimate_mvc3_heroes__heralds_card_locations_revealed
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bpx6AC1AWiI&feature=player_embedded#
Quote
If you click here, you'll find a large image that contains all the data. Basically, each card is acquired by playing as one faction (Heroes or Heralds) on a specific background (Kattleox Island, Danger Room etc). Simply look up the card you want to get, cross reference with map and faction, and boom, there's your path to victory.

Example - to get Daredevil, I need to play as Heroes, and win a match on Training Room, Hand Hideout, Kattleox Island or Metro City. To get Bullseye, I need to play as Heralds and win a match on City That Never Sleeps, Danger Room, Shadowland or Days of Future Past. Note that some cards have other stipulations, like winning an online tournament or playing specifically in offline mode.
Big Photo so posted link to it instead

With the release of the new cosutme pack yesterday Mega Man fans are totally ripping into Capcom, I read all 11 pages of comments. It's actually entertaining and sad.

What else you could wait when there 2 X costumes, but no X... Though I found Amaterasu-Jon Talbain also very bad move. If they could make those models - why don't make full character? Bit of new fx, voices and some new moves... It's hard for mugen, where you need to search for voice actors, draw/edit sprites, but for gaming company, and big one...

It doesn't matter how much money you have, programming characters for a fighting game is still an immense amount of work.

Capcom would rather copy/paste.

I wasn't talking about money directly. I meant that they are not one man army, they have coders, modelers, voice actors, etc. and professional ones. A lot of resources that individual enthusiasts or even groups of them could not even dream of(yet fan projects are kicking their butts, but that's a different story). And time is one of that resources - fan-made projects are working on model "I have a work and family, when I have some free time I may spend it on projects", but here is opposite thing - project IS work so working on a project won't hurt your budget, more likely vice versa. Yet they are still using that C&P method... And there question appears in my mind "are they working there at all?". Probably yes, but with all those resources compared to final product...

Regarding new characters...

1) SSFIVAE has 39 fighters and it took a few years to get that far, so UMvC3's 50 in less than a year is really big. It's actually tied for the the biggest roster ever (KoF98) if you take MvC2 out of consideration because those sprites were made over a 5 year period in Street Fighter Alpha, Darkstalkers, the Marvel games and the previous versus game. So I think Capcom is really proud of the 50 character roster. I don't expect any characters to be added to the roster...

2) But... if Capcom is planning on adding to the roster that they sure won't tell us because they want us to buy the current version. In fact, they proved in the past that they will right out lie about their future plans. Also, Ultimate didn't sell as well as they hoped.

3) If you consider the DLC costumes with the mind frame that there will be no new charcters, then all the choices make some kind of sense. I love DLC but I'm not buying them until they release a discount pack in March. I hope they make another set of costumes later as well, just like they did with SSFIV.

Besides, maybe a few years down the line we'll have an MvC4 with 100 characters.
