The new characters look good. Now everybody who's been whining for Strider Hiryu can shut up too.

p.s. Can't believe they're putting Nova in the game. That was left-field but a good choice.

I was really hoping for Samonosuke from Onimusha, or even someone form PowerStone.... not bad cast but not really anyone I'd play with for real except maybe Vergil. as it stands this game just ain't worth it on top of the money I've already spent on the original plus DLC. I really feel for thos who bought all those shadow battles and/or got the collector's edition.

They should do a Law & Order SVU episode on Capcom.

If nothing else, I think Rocket Raccoon and Nemesis are fake. Nemesis was deconfirmed by Ryota Niitsuma, although he could have been lieing.

I don't really understand why you're complaining about this. Think of it this way; the game will likely retail for 40 bucks. DLC characters, on the other hand, cost 5 dollars apiece. They are adding 12 characters. 12*5= 60 dollars. So essentially, by going with the SSF4-style disc to get these characters, you're saving $20 AND getting new features the first should have had like spectator mode, AND most likely some improved balancing.

Not to mention MvC3 vanilla felt pretty incomplete. The endings were boring and lifeless, not all characters had level 3 hypers, and it just by and large felt rushed out the door. I'm guessing this edition will fix a lot of that up, but now I'm just speculating.

Me, I'm just glad I held out and didn't get the vanilla MvC3. Now I only have to shell over 40 dollars to get the finished product. Feels good, man

well people are complaining because basically we've paid $60 for beta of MvC3, and now the full game is getting released for almost half of that.

Imagine if other devs did this, pay full price for a full game only to find out that u could've waited a year for the better version. Yeah it's good they're making the game better but they should've did this from the get go, it's not like they didn't know they were going to do this, this news comes not even 6 months after the original's release plus they already did it with SFIV. not to mention they had folks pay for that DLC which will come with this new game.

It's the principal of the whole thing really that's messed up. For those who don't already have the game yeah it'll be a good investment for that price def pick it up, but for everyone else it just feel like we got swindled or something.

and it's cool for them cause people support them ding this so they can do it repeatedly and it's no big whoop. We live an economic climate where buying videogames is a luxury, and for $60 u deserve the full game. I hate it for folks buying the game this very minute or within the past few days who haven't heard about this yet.

No thanks Capcom I'd rather spend my money on a game that isn't incomplete that's worth my money like Mass Effect, Gears of War, Resistance, Mortal Kombat, or Elder Scrolls. no matter how u cut it this is BS!

With hope, this might be the only release for this game. Doesn't Marvel have a say on this, seeing as half the content is theirs? They're not as money greedy as Capcom (to be fair I'm not sure anyone is)

Now i feel really bamboozled with it all together. $\-/o$ yeah i am an advocate myself for companies to make games and DLC but this is just tarded. i thought when i bought my copy of mvc3 i was gettin full game with dlc material to come out . definetly people whpo are just going to get it will have the first benifit of having the completed copy and not gone for a bike ride with no seat. ouch!

. thois is same reason why i am waiting till sf vs tekken comes out with FULL roster and if any actual dlc will come then it will be just that. DLC and not 'hey we choose not to give you more characters on the net, we just give you yet another disc with..everybody on it that was planned from the get go! and oh...sorry for buying our beta game for full price. our bad! salutations!". this is $\-/o$ trend!

Well I guess this means I have a choice of this or Batman Arkham City now. I'm actaully shocked and confused. I don't know what to do, get mad, sad, happy? the game came out 5 monthes ago, and a new version gets released 9 monthes later? WTF is going on in Capcom?

I like the artwork, they even updated the old MvC3 site for the ultimate release, not to mention the preorder costumes look cool.
