... or maybe Capcom is just screwing with us and we actually WILL get DLC.

It's not like ALL their fighters get this treatment (I don't recall get a "Super Mondo-Sexy Tatsunoko vs Capcom: Arcade Edition" release)

So...we BUY more characters/stages/etc. rather than be able to download it without a price for a game that I believed to be incomplete since its release? When I bought MvC3 and noticed the lack of characters and stages, my first thought was "we gonn get scammed..."

I just pray that Capcom won't do another cheap move with the DLC.

At the first version of MVC3, they announced to have DLC and released just two chars.
Then, after the Quake at Japan, they said they had stopped it.

But many people doubts that they ever planned anything more than those 2 chars. Capcom is most "slot machine" we ever know.
It keeps releasing versions of the same game.

I know some people could get offended by this, but sorry I like this. SSFIV AE is something I never will buy (I don't like the kung fu brothers, plus Evil Ryu is SO boring. And Smurf Akuma is bad too,

)

I don't have MVC3, I was playing it using my friend's game, just because I was afraid that a "super/arcarde/ex/whatever" version would pops up with some new things here and there and charging for more money...

Yeah, I skipped buying SFIV because I wanted to wait for the upgrade, then I bought Super SFIV and of course they go and announce SFIVAE. I'm sure they will do the same with MvC3.

if its another "super version" of the same game, i aint buying it. fug that! i dont like MVC3 roster that much as it is now and playing online sucks cause everyone uses the same characters ( the mid to top sections) and they rippin us all off if they do market this as another full game buy. so if i have to buy the new disc to get the new characters, wha happened to my original game that had promised some dlc? all i got was shuma gorath

. I hate the button layout, I hate that stupid ground bounce to comboing crap cause you can keep that going for a long time . I dont like how some people got some really cool looking Hypers (wolverine, iron man, dante and some others) and gave other characters some weak anus looking level 3 hypers ( HULK , jill, she hulk, task master "he only got 2 just like jill"

)and some others who should gotten the good treatment as well. i see capcom got lazy in the going all out on certain characters level 3 hypers. To boot as well there isnt hardly any stages in the game. Very incomplete game. but it was done purposely anyway. well capcom ya better give me better justice on this game or ya know what....better give me even better and make it top notch on Street Fighter vs Tekken game or i might have to stop buying their fighting games. *throwing hissyfit and pouting!* $\-/o$

. ask Whiplash how many times i was doing it (by accident) when i did not even need to use it at those times.

Take with a grain of salt, and maybe some liquor......the only thing I'm suspicious is Yamato, lighting is off

looks like a fake to me. his character model size is too large compared to dante and his hair looks like its been cropped out plus its not cell shaded

I don't really understand how folks can defend when Capcom does this stuff. Yeah SSIV may have been a great game but they should have just postponed it and did that way from the get g; but okay let's give them the benefit of the doubt for that, only for them to do it again. Especially with them having done this kind of thing so many times in the past, You'd think they'd be better about it by now.

And what's worse they likely know a god while before the announcement that they're going to do this, meanwhile there are still people buying the game only to find out a few days later they could have just gotten the complete version for almost half price.

I especially feel for the folks who buy the collector's editions basically they're paying well over $100 if they want the complete experience.

Now I could understand maybe doing something like this for a GOTY version, but MvC3 isn't even a year old yet!

Well it isn't so much defending as we can't keep our hands off of the new Street Fighter/MvC/Other Capcom game even if we had to give them a little bit of our soul. That Hadouken is addictive.

Okay, I was with you until you got to Adon.... Adon and sakura.... how the hell do these characters matter?... actually, thinking about it, sakura got into way too much games... Gem fighter, MVc2 MvsSF... like we really need at least 4 shotos a game capcom. I'd rather have Vega and a SF3 Character (NECRO!) over them.

Ok ok... Maybe you're right about Sakura., although I still like Adon. Too many shoto types would indeed be a waste of space, and I agree with that... I should have made a ninth spot for the X-Factor needing to disappear...! Anyway, Omega Red would be SICK!!! As far as how I feel about Arthur, (imo) he should have never been in this game. Oh! And if you've played Cannon spike on Dream Cast, he was a full sized knight, and he was awesome! He was the size of a full grown man, and it worked for me. I was a HUGE fan of Ghost&Goblins/Ghouls&Ghosts...! And yes sir, Vega, Necro, and many others should be here as well...

Well, sorry you feel that way... But being a Muay Thai fighter myself, I got luv for all of them... Now C.Viper on the other hand, was a mistake. If the roster was a lot bigger, I wouldn't mind her being there. But having such limited characters to choose from, They could have put strider Hiryu there, or Captain commando!! As I understand it, she replaced him. If that's true, I swear someone needs to throw whomever thought about that idea into a shark tank. Idiot...!

Really? That sounds awsome! never got to play cannon spike when I had a dreamcast.

Got me wrong, I want to know Muay Thai (not just standard Kick Boxing) I just dislike him as a character. It was nice to see him in Sagat's SFIV opening 'learning' Tiger Destruction. With his chin.

I never knew C Viper kicked out C Commando. He was one of my favorites to fight against just because he was a tough char for me to beat but not cheap. Plus the sunglasses.

I don't think X-Factor is going, but I don't think a (theoretical) MvC4 would feature it.

(PM me so I don't steal the thread, but what are the main differences on Muay Thai and standard kickboxing, because it seems to get generalized as 'just' kick boxing)
