DT, I'm not good at saying this from a newbies point of view. So I'm the wrong person to talk to. The only other suggestion I can think of is either Syn gives him the link that he gave me for all the characters that already had  everything applied or I upload that rar and give him the link to it. That's the easiest way I can think of doing it. All those steps I gave are on how to make the screenpack work. I have not even verified myself if the screenpack works after the steps. Ive been to busy.

But if he just got into mugen and is going straight for one of Syn or rednavi's releases thats the worst to go head first into mugen with. Syn and rednavi make changes to an entire roster to make there releases work. If what you are saying is correct he has never actually been in game on mugen to begin with. So Rednavi's or Syn's release is the worst possible thing to try for a day 1 newbie.

no offense to you Syn or rednavi. It's just no matter how easy you guys try and make it for someone who is basically a day old, it is still extremely tough to work out.

So my suggestion to the guy is to go to youtube and look up on how to add characters to mugen then look up changing portraits. Then after he can successfully do those 2 things he should grab a screenpack and get it working in mugen. After that then he should come back and try to work on this release. Otherwise it's gonna be a real headache. No offense m8!

That's why I didn't " welcome " him to the forum. Because he signed up around the release party. So he's not that new to the forum. But I believe adding screenpacks/patches/ etc.... is new to him.

Keep in mind our friend is from Bulgaria, also. So there is somewhat of a language barrier.

NPS m8, Syn just misunderstood you. he's a cool guy but he does not like to hand out stuff to people basically. Syn and Rednavi work hard on their releases so they expect the people who download it to kinda give it there all when installing. But he's cool once you get to know him.

But give me a PM if you need any more help. I could always rar up my whole fresh install of winmugen plus with Rednavi's screenpack. But shoot me a PM if you need any more help and I will gladly assist the best I can.

for someone who complained about not bein able to follow the steps on a readme he's kind of a guy who never uses periods or paragraphs for sure. I lost one eye just by looking at his first post.

did anyone get the passwords yet?
Nope...
