He asked too many questions.

The guy was a little annoying, yes, but not nearly enough for this to happen to him.

Punctuation and capitalization can make the difference between "I helped my uncle, Jack, off a horse," and, "I helped my uncle jack off a horse."

92% of people have moved onto rap. If you're part of the 8% who thinks rap isn't music, sucks to be you.

Most newer stuff sucks, though.

I haven't posted embed videos before, so I hope this works.

Anways, for anyone curious about more on the issue, I notice that the news channels all keep starting at the same point, RIGHT before the police take him away.

Here's a more indepth video, from when he began his questioning:

I think it's stupid that you think black people are always treated worse.

Yet at the same time, I know it's true. : \

Actually, I do, that's why I say that. I wouldn't dare say anything if I hadn't. BTW, I'm also black.

Absolutely sickening.

Ten years ago, this is the sort of thing patriotic Americans would have seen happening in some police-state dictatorship and been outraged at, saying "That country needs a functioning democracy!"

Today, it happens in the United States, and it barely makes the news because people are getting used to it. People are becoming comfortable with it. This is the sort of attitude - that questioning authority and the party line too vigorously deserves brutal force - that leads a society slowly and steadily into fascism. This attitude needs to be stopped now.

Yeah, I understand. Even though I said that, I know it's true. Many groups are treated the same though. It's not limited to skin color, much less blacks. What I'm trying to say is, thinking we will always receive unfair treatment will only promote racism.

This REALLY upset me. The guy asked a freakin' question! Okay, maybe it was a little excessive but how many people have died because of tazers? Those things should be outlawed. If I was this guy I would be sueing for sure!!!

 >:-(-| Oh and people lets focus on what happened and lets not start with the race batter issue. If you keep bringing up race as an issue it will always be!

I was gonna post this topic. Man, I felt horrible for this guy. He's just a journalist student who got a little carried away :-@. They shoulda simply escorted him off the premises. There was no need for such excessive force and a TAZER  [-X. Really, you got four officers taking a skinny white guy, are you telling me they couldn't have got him outta there without violence. :-w It was much more than necessary, plus they further disturbed Kerry's speech than the kid did by asking his questions. Really, that was a horribly handled sitiuation. >:P

The boy didn't do anything wrong. The kid was simply asking a few questions, and Kerry actually was listening to him and willing to answer, when the police got on him Kerry said to let him speak. He didn't threaten Kerry, he was just asking simple questions. What the police where doing there was no different then terrorism. This police brutality should not be tolerated. Not only does this make the police look bad, but it also makes Kerry look  bad because he was actually a part of the event. Things in America are being so bad now to where we have to avoid the police, back in the day the police were supposed to keep us safe from whatever it is that goes bump in the night, now it's so bad to where the police is the thing that goes bump in the night, and since us as citizens can't do anything other than suffer their brutality, we are forced to submit to their terrorisms.  >:( >o:-( XD||

well i dont see how it made kerry look bad when he said to let him speak but the cops never been good to me, not because i've hadd any expierences with any i just never trusted them simply because they're humans like we are and majority of humans take advantage of power so to me it's safe to say the police dont make the world any more safe.

Watch the whole video, the guy was taking all the time on the floor and getting pretty riled up, and when the campus police showed up he was just being belligerent and never for a second did what they asked him and fought them the whole way. All he had to do was walk... asking stupid questions like "were you part of the secret organization that tampered with voting to make you lose the election?"

Yeah, they're people just like us. The other day when me and my sis were coming home there was an ambulance that was just driving, no sirens or anything. As soon as the light turned green they threw on the sirens and made a sharp right to get into the drive-thru at Church's Chicken. :D Real emergency. L-)

It's still no reason for the police to perform brutality and call it disrupting a public event to justify what they did. I watched the video. Not one person looked disturbed, the senator even told the cops to let him speak, which the cops failed to do, the senator gave the police an order, and they ignored it. Sick world we live in. The kid was not threating anybody, he had no weapons on him, he wasn't selling illegal drugs, there was no reason to get more than 3 cops on him, let alone attack him. He just asked a few questions, I don't remember anything stating that it's against the law to ask anybody in politics questions (whether they are stupid or not) at a conference held in a university. What the cops did was completely unethical and not kosher. A lot of people wonder why there are so many conspiracies, stuff like this is exactly why!

I hate the police. That doesn't mean that they're ALWAYS wrong though, in this situation I don't think they did anything wrong. He was very unruly, forceful, and unprofessional in his question asking. He started causing a scene...and come on, this is John Kerry, not your everyday speaker. Security needs to be tighter in an environment such as this. When the police approached him telling him to leave, he became defiant and just got louder and more obnoxious. So, force became neccessary, and they tried to walk him out quietly and he continued to jump about and put up a struggle. They had to wrestle him to the floor, and from that angle we can hear hear him asking them not to tazor him, and they warned him several times before they did it, but we can't see if he kept trying to fight on the floor. In which case, they would have used proper force. I think the police took the right precautionary measures in this case. You have a VERY disgruntled citizen at a conference for a high profile political, and controversial figure. They were just trying to dissolve the issue before it grew into a larger one...but that's just me.  :|

Just further proof that our constitutional rights and lifes of "liberty and the pursuit of happiness" are going right down the $#!7er. Everyone lean your chairs back and wait for the secret police to start busting down doors.  :O*D
