This couldn't of happen at a better time...
Syn is currently on vacation in Miami Florida for Spring Break and days ago our website was attacked causing it to be dangerous and harmful to your computer.

I notified SyN of the issue and since yesterday, he has been working on cleaning up and restoring the website. Well to be honest, He migrated the site and abandoned the SMF software and legally purchased Invision Power Board.

It appears that everytime he reverts back to SMF there is always an issue so we are done with SMF period. Cybermugen, a forum hosted on Syn's Server was also attacked and resulted in the same problems as the Club Syn website. Everyone we host are fine that are not running SMF software. Ascended mugen has yet to be hit but im sure sooner or later it will, but since they are not active I am closing that site along with Cyber mugen.

At this moment the site is under construction and will be back operational. Everyone who had an account with us are fine, no need to re-register when we re-open. downloads are being restored, nothing was infected, just some alien javascript code injected in one of the forum files that causes users to have stuff downloaded into their computers, "malware" but this wasn't not our fault nor were we were responsible.

I see our link on top of IMT was removed, I am assuming for this purpose along and to protect its users, understandable but once everything is straightened out, kindly restore our name and link among the others please?

Anyway those who visit the old site link will see a message about what happened and will see a link to our xat chat for any questions and or concerns you may have.

Actually we removed all the links that weren't hosted by IMT, which included CVG, Club Syn and War Machine Madness so the only ones remaining are the Wiki and Project X. No hard feelings or anything like that at all, it was just part of a little spring cleaning.

I have faith that Club SyNdicate will return faster, stronger, and better than ever before. Also, the last time Club SyNdicate bounced back, it was a video game and M.U.G.E.N. news site. What will happen now?

What a pain that all sounds like it will be to clear up. Good luck on getting the site 100% again. I'm pretty sure Syn will have the new/improved site up & running soon.

Only advice is backup early and backup often.

Have you notified or check the support for SMF forums, for what its worth. They should probably know if there was an exploit for injection.

No offense to smf users but we are done with it and are not looking back.
Backing up the site inst the problem, and yeah some sort of unknown exploit must of occurred which brought the site to ruins, but again, this only happens when we use smf software.

We switched to Invision and purchased a legit license. We will go from there.

Heh, Just made it back home and yea, wasn't expecting what happen to happen during my spring break vacation.
Guess someone got it out for me.
Anyway, I did a lot of re-cleaning re-building etc while I was away and at the same time still managed to have a good time on my trip.

We will be opening very shortly and upon opening, a sneak peak @ one of the new Cs-X- screenpacks in progress and a gift.

My pc crashed right after i saw that white page that day. i was wondering what the heck happend too

Yeh i got caught up in the wind of that and had to system restore everything to factory settings for the 1st time ever. Lost all my stuff on there. It was so bad that when i went there my pc crashed and wouldnt let me stay at my desktop. kept booting me back to "Welcome". It was too late before i saw the notice saying that you needed a very strong virus protection er somethin if you stopped at the syn site er somethin like that...
