Creating Gif files

Hello everyone.

I am currently working on a Mugen character, and have just finished the stance animation.
I want to see how the animation looks as well as show it off, but the thing is...I dont know how to make a gif file.

I dont need any huge tutorial or anything, but if someone could help me out I would greatly appreciate it.

you can dd the sprites to Fighter factory, make the animation....and in the anims, there is a button that looks like a cactus....press it, and it makes the anim a gif

I know how to put the animation together in FF as well as convert it.
I can convert the sprite into a PCX file with Gimp, but as far as I know it doesnt make pallets.
Thats my main problem. So basically...I cant make the image transparent.
Unless Gimp can do it but I havent figured it out yet.

Thanks. Im a Inuyasha fan, and I custom made both those sprites. They are part of my planned wips.
The first one has been updated, but I havent changed my sig yet.

When you install Fighter Factory... open the Auto Updater that comes with it.. check for updates and a palette editor should be in there.. it's really easy to use.. just make sure whatever color the bg of your sprite is (usually pink) is on the bottom-right..

By the way spidermew. How do you select all those squares in the pallet at once?
I could only do them by selecting each one while holding control.

By holding down shift and clicking the uppermost box on the left after the lowermost box on the right was already clicked.
