Wasup there my MUGEN family, wasup Infinity team how you guys doing out there. YES, its true I am gettin into makin a character aka the badboy himself the main character from the GodOfWar series Kratos. Now, what I plan on doing is making him from all 3 titles. Im talkin about bloodsputing hitsparks, not too gruesome but enough for him to live up to his rep.

Im also tying to get my hands on those Lion gauntlets that he has in GodOfWar 3 or some type of picture that he has but I cant find any atm, I would draw them and scan them on the computer but unfourtunatly I dont have a scanner so I gotta find another way

. If it is possible I would like to ask everyone here for some assistance as long as it isnt breaking any rules. I have the ideas, i just dont have the proper equipment to make these dreams a reality. So if I can get some assistance in help me with this it would be greatly appreciated

P.S. I am new here, so if this isnt the proper place to put these ideas then forgive me I am new here.
Edit: This is just a heads up, i will be releasing a beta version for you guys to try out sometime b4 the end of the year. So keep a look out.

Well, you can still make your own Kratos. Just keep in mind that there's a strong competition my friend. Real strong.

Don't let that discourage you. Just because one is being worked on doesn't mean you should quit yours. I mean look at how many Batmans are being worked on and every one of them is highly anticipated

Everyone makes their own creations in their own ways.. so yours may be better than the other one's in some ways and vice versa.. I say keep going with it.

It would also be great to edit your first post with some screenshots... you kinda need them to start a WIP topic...

I needed that, it looks like imma have to draw up most of the sprites myself since I cant find any. -sigh- thats anothe rproblem cuz I dont have anyway to scan em on my computer, this is gonna be my toughest challenege yet as far as me making a mugen character.

Welcome to the forum first of all .

It's strange the way this happens . For awhile we have no Silver Surfers , then all of a sudden there is three .

No Kratos , now there may be two .

Anyway Good luck to all parties working on this character .

Since this is not really a WIP yet , because you have no sprites or anything posted . I will move this to discussion until some progress is shown

I'm not trying to discourage you from your wip. But have you thought about making anyone else from the GOW universe? Kratos could sure use an Ares to fight against. Seeing as how you haven't started yet, I thought you may be open to some suggestions.

Also, have you made any mugen chars or is this your first?

I already had some pictures of Kratos hand drawn and its a funny thing cuz I was thinking of making Zeus and the other gods just a while ago. Im sure some ppl would like to know what the Greek Gods would fight like.

I say let him make the character he thinks he will enjoy creating . If it happens to be something someone else is working on , so be it . Like I said we have 3 different Silver Surfer's & multiples of other characters , also . I think there are 4 Batman's being made right now .

You have to go where your creative mind leads you . Half the drive of creating is making something you enjoy . If you enjoy making it , usually the desire will be there to finish .

I was wondering if this was your first character , also ?

Heh, well if you made a Zeus that would be awesome. According to the story me and DooM made for kratos, he's going after zeus. Not sure if you read the story, but you can read it at www.gowmugen.com if you're interested.

Well not from scratch, but yeah - I'm editing SF3 Urien's sprites.

As for the scanner... got some question to ya actually - Are you able to draw some Kratos' artworks from scratch? I mean any style. Doesn't have to be very realistic. Just your style. Me and Kratos need some for supers / specials / hypers backgrounds, and for the storyboard.

The reason why Kratos is suggesting you to make some other char is just because you know... it would be hella fun to see some epic fight between Kratos and maybe Zeus or some other Kratos' enemy.

I would love to see Zeus personally, but I won't be able to make him myself after Kratos, 'cause I quit Mugen after we're done on him.

If you like the idea of little teaming up, contact me throught ICQ or MSN. Me and Kratos are big fans of GoW so we can give you a lot of ideas and I can offer some spriting help too, like setting some style for your GoW themed wip for Mugen.

Yeah, I can pick up Kratos from scratch he isnt that hard for me to do cuz I been drawing him since God Of War 1. If need be I can draw up some of his special moves from God Of War 2 I just got done downloading his Typhoon Bow attaks and Im using the whirlwinds from Hohamarou(I hope I got his name right) from Samurai Showdown 3, I just gotta edit them to blue.

Maybe let's keep it out of record and discuss that by person (well, I mean thru' MSN or ICQ). People can say whatever they want, but they really like surpises, and I know we can suprise them together.
