I listen to rock but when it gets heavy thats when I stop... I'm way to happy about life to be gothic, sooo I'm an otaku mainly cuz well anime and other stuff like there games.

I guess people would say I'm an "Industrial" guy, or what we call a Rivet head

I also like Horror Core, and theatrical Rock like Gwar, ICP, Misfits, Slipknot, Rob Zombie stuff like that so Im also a (Horror Head)

Many more I can't think of at the moment, but never, ever, ever, ever, ever, say "nu-metal," anything with "core" stupidly tacked on at the end, or "Slipknot" to me. All three will earn you my scorn.

Yeah , I also have Steeler which was Yngwie's first deal . Man was that cd hard to get . Ron Keel sang for them .

At one time I was a manager of a Record Exchange . It was the point & time that everyone was getting rid of all their old metal cd's because it wasn't cool anymore . So I was scarfing up everything that came in dirt cheap .

the most disguisting crap ive ever heard)
and i pretty much hate what you hear emos and scenes listen to

of the crap my sis likes are those bands listed and jefree star and brokencyde dont even have any meaning in there songs whatsoever its all about having sex i cant stand it i mean i dont care if i hear it like once but the whole song come on and i dont know if anyones heard this one song but its called never trust a ho or something its freaking retarded

im closer to a metal head then the other options, i am a big anime fan but i wouldn say otaku... i cant afford to be an otaku

But really im not into the hardcore stuff or whatnot....
I like stuff like Hammerfall and Dream Theater, but im not into deathmetal or stuff like that..
And i like allot of other stuff like clasic rock and videogame remixes......

I dont fit into most lables...

I like anime a lot too . I have most of it on DVD . But I don't really consider myself otaku , because I am not like the die hard guys I see dressed up at the anime conventions & things like that .

To a point I don't really consider myself metal because I listen to all kinds of music . But everyone else seems to classify me as a true metal head . So whatever .

I guess , I am goth on halloween when I do the crow get up

I think the people that are quick to label themselves are the ones who really arent that at all. Most of the people that look like they might be something tend not label themselves.

I mean a lot of us older guys all knew guys who said they were Metal Heads, but liked Warrant, Winger, and Poison, while a lot of us non Metal heads liked Slayer, Anthrax, and Metallica.

Personally I used to know all kinda dudes that said they were "Industrial" but alls they liked were NIN, and M. Manson. I felt like if thats what a Rivet Head is, then thats not me.

I like way too many styles of Music to be anything. When I really think of it deep down inside I still feel like a Punk because as a kid thats what I related to most. Im burnt out on most of my classic Punk albums, and the new stuff these days blows, so it be kinda silly to call myself that.

Well I mostly jam old rock. (Kiss, Megadeth, Metallica, Def Leppard, etc) with a few new stuff (Disturbed, Godsmack, Slipknot, Avenged Sevenfold, etc) with some small amount of hip-hop and techno. While I used to watch anime but I don't anymore.

Hum i used to be a peace and love guy in the old days (with a real frightening flower power dressing style), then went totally heavy metal during the end of my adolescence. Then i had a few goth years until i got really bored of the gothic community (well i was living in paris at that time, guys take their gothic status/pride/fashion a little too seriously there).
Now i'm a mix of all these things, a peacefull lover of good books and good music (from the doors, cure, tim buckley, jimi hendrix, to opeth, paradise lost, slayer, from the jazz to the death metal...) who hangs out with punks, otakus, goths, metalheads, hippies, serious people, reggae boys... As long as people are fun or interesting i don't really care about any label.

Ow and a note from my metal days : please don't call yourself a metal lover i you listen any motorhead ^^ (free troll, please don't take it seriously ^^)

I've always hated Motorhead . I remember one W.A.S.P. tour Motorhead opened for them & I ws p*ssed . I went to the show late to miss their set , but not late enough . I still had to hear a few songs . It was like torture

Motorhead isnt finess, its braindead hardcore for white trash, and bikers.
