HI TODAY MY PROBLEM IS THAT THE TEAM COOPERATIVE( AND SURVIVAL COOP) DOESNT WORK

I SELECT A CHAR WITH THE PLAYER ONE BUT THE PLAYER TWO CANT MOVE THE CURSOR. I DONT HAVE IDEA WHICH IS THE PROBLEM. CAN BE THE TAG MODE?, i install that mode but i delete it.

make sure you have one of the newest hacked mugens (many at randomselect).

make sure that, if youre using a controller, to enable both gamepads in the options menu.

why must it be hacked? and do you know another site?, not randomselect becuase i can open that site.

And i'm not using jostick

if you want to know why i say the word "hacked", read more into winmugen's history.

Since youre not using a joystick, if you want player2 to be able to move then you would need 2 keyboards then wouldntcha think? Im pretty sure it would be too cramped to have someone play offa different buttons on one keyboard...

Another site......hmmm, check around in the main various mugen sites like this one.

wat screenpack are you using it could be a problem with the fonts

Why would fonts have anything to do with selecting the second char?

wait a sec, do you mean 2nd player as in player 2 or second player as in the partner of your team?

Seriously, if you mean partner of your team then that was a problem in the old winmugen hack. Simply getting the newer version would fix that. I didnt know that old one was still around .

I'm using a screenpack of marvel super heroes.

i mean second player as my partner of my temas, that is in coop mode. The cursor of the two player doesnt move in the select screen

I've had the same problem using the infinity screenpack by eternaga downloadable from IMT. http://www.infinitymugenteam.com/FrameAddons.htm

Can you recommend  a better one or is it perhaps a different problem.

actually that doesnt sound right. check you screenpack's system.def. sometimes creators leave out the modes they dont use. if the modes have preset fonts dont mess with it but if not...

...check to see if you have 3 team modes.
     Team Battle: 1p+Cpu on a team
     Team 2p: 1p+2p on a team. this is probably what u have u need 2 controllers
     Team Vs: 1p team Vs 2p team

Im not sure what you mean by hack. but the only thing that comes as an addon to mugen is a patch to remove the character limit. unless its a patch for the screenpack itself.

There really isnt any coding involved.

When you go to system.def open it with notepad.
then under title info you will find...

this is what the options are. if one is missing it will not show in the game.

The problem isn't that the mode doesn't show up. The problem is it doesn't work. I have the same problem as dante244 where it doesn't let you select a second character or start the game when using coop modes.

That is odd. Couple questions.

have you tried another screenpack or redownloading Mugen? I say get Mugenhi from Randomselect.

What type of controller do you have. If it has analog it wont work unless there is a button to turn off the analog. (For Instance if you stick in a X360 or PS3 controller u cant use the d-pad cause the computer only registers the analog.

Do you have the correct plugins? If you're using plugins given to you through a full game as in a full package with screenpack, characters, stages, etc. They may have been altered. My suggestion is to use the plugins from the original winmugen download then download Capcom Fighting Evo Max from the screenpack section. It should come with a bunch of plugins. (same ones I use up to this day even the screenpack).

using just the keyboard so its not that

I have redownloaded mugen, tho not specifically from randomselect. I've also used multiple screenpacks but not all of them so I guess trying more wouldn't hurt

do you know what plugins I might need to make it work??

if i remember right there just map files like. joy1.map and so on.
