The anime Batman looks cool but some of the shorts look like nothing more than a sad attempt to appeal to the Anime generation of DBZ zombies. Apparently Batman needs hair like ichigo to appeal to the younger generation.

Ooooh, I so wanna argue that with my opinion on anime, old anime in US, the success of Witchblade, hollywoods adaptation of anime & all the future US/Asia collaborations. But its really too early to debate that and the wrong topic.

I do agree with the "zombies" part but it really extends much further than DBZ. I'll just say that the US is lacking in variety as far as anime and gen pop.

Agreed. This is to retro. Let's just say it,"cartoons aren't what they use to be!" I don't know if they'll ever top Batman the animated series.

A lot of people seem to forget that Batman the Animated Series was considered retro at the time, but whatever. The JLU/BTAS isnt coming back so you gotta try new things. New Frontier is done by the same people that did Batman the Animated series (except Paul Dini)

Personally I thought clone wars was really cool, so I look forward to seeing what they do with this. Not to mention its a team up toon, so there will be a lot of characters never before seen in animation. Blue beetle Jamie Reyes for one seen on the above promo.

Oh man, Batman seems to have lost his dark image in this newcoming series, from the looks of the image.

I just hope its good cause other than batman the animated series and batman beyond none have been much to watch
