lol. I was about to say this looks like it's from the 60's.

But I did enjoy the animated 90's series a lot.
Mark Hamil is the best voice actor for The Joker (I didn't even know it was him until I did the research, I mean he sounds nothing like he did in the Star Wars movies, but I guess being unnoticeable  is what makes a good voice actor, he also did a good job as Wolverine in the game Wolverine game for ps2, but the game itself was lame).

I probably won't watch this,
I mean, I like old school, but this looks ancient.

Brave, and the Bold is a legendary DC comics series. It was DC's version of Marvel Team up.

I dont get what the gripe is with Batman. Thats how batman looks. Its not all that differant from the 1st couple seasons of Batman The Animated series.

With old School Green Arrow, and the New Blue Beetle in the preview, this looks to be 8 times better than "The Batman"

This looks to be moving in the direct that New Frontier started, and for those that havent seen the Justice League New Frontier Movie I recommend you go out, and buy, or rent it ASAP. You will get where this is going.

Cant wait.

You should try reading Denny Oneil, or Frank Miller Batman. When Batman looked like that in the comics is when they wrote it, and those 2 writers were the inspiration for Batman the Animated series.

The look of TAS was based on Space Ghost, and Max Fleischers Superman, very much the same base for this.

Most would consider those ancient.

Like i said in the new spider-man cartoon, the look really doesn't bother me its the story that interest me the most so i wont judge until i see a couple of episodes.
Be nice though if they came back with a justice league series.

Wait till after the Movie comes out in a year or 2. If it does as well as whats expected, Justice League will have more toons, video games, and toys than ever.

You know what was good? Batman: Year One. (Frank Miller, right?) And Batman: Year 100. (forgot who did the art and story, but I thought it was a pretty good follow up of sorts to Year One.)

That was how Green Arrow's costume was origionally in the Comics (see Justice League New Frontier the Movie)

It was a big hit, I strongly recommmend it

Actually if you look these are not animation cells, just promotional art. Justice Leugue Unlimited the Comic cover art looks exactley the same, but the actual show is much better art wise.

And yes these are the same guys who did Star Wars Clone Wars, and Samurai Jack, but some of the same guys also worked on JLU.

Much more respected that the guys on that crapfest Spectacular Spiderman.

Agreed. This is to retro. Let's just say it,"cartoons aren't what they use to be!" I don't know if they'll ever top Batman the animated series.

Thanks DG!

A lot of people seem to forget that Batman the Animated Series was considered retro at the time, but whatever. The JLU/BTAS isnt coming back so you gotta try new things. New Frontier is done by the same people that did Batman the Animated series (except Paul Dini)

The anime Batman looks cool but some of the shorts look like nothing more than a sad attempt to appeal to the Anime generation of DBZ zombies. Apparently Batman needs hair like ichigo to appeal to the younger generation. 8=|

Personally I thought clone wars was really cool, so I look forward to seeing what they do with this. Not to mention its a team up toon, so there will be a lot of characters never before seen in animation. Blue beetle Jamie Reyes for one seen on the above promo.

Heres some clips from New Frontier that inspired this new toon.
