Most people probably don't feel the scale of what will happen, so I think that action should be taken by as many sites as possible.

And I don't have ANY trust in Obama caring for people or anyone in White House is. It's more likely they care on making it slide with less possible opposition and then, when everything settles, most people forgot about it... Bang! New additions, which are bit modified ones that were stripped to let it slide in. It reminds me of tactics used by viruses... And Ilu is right, that's not only America, it happens everywhere in every direction - military, education, medicine, etc. Just this one have big resonance because it touches not only huge amount of people, but it touches their last relief. Touches with death touch...

On the subject of SOPA-MUGEN, one of the big things about SOPA is how easily a company could take out a website using SOPA's power. So companies that previously thought MUGEN was unwanted, but not important enough to put effort into, might decide now that they don't like us using their 'unlicensed' sprites.

The real evil is that it tries to gain our sympathies for artists to try to weasel this thing through.

While I definately support efforts to stop file sharing, and piracy in terms of music, gaming, and comic books.

(sorry but were not entitled to things obtained for free illegally)

This wolf in sheeps clothing of a bill will end up hurting the sites that promote artists more than it will protect any artists.

It's really a a poorly diguised bill aimed at censoring the internet.
