OK I did kind of expect more entries for such a cool theme, but.... the show will go on!

Cool to see Ifrit but had to go with Headless Horsemen. Though, I thought bgs wouldn't be allowed anymore unless the person made it themselves or heavily edited it.?

It's been a rough week for me. Backgrounds are not supposed to be allowed unless the person made it. But with so many things going on here & in real life, I just totally forgot about it.

Now............

This is the first week ever that I really screwed up on the sprite contest. I am only human. I had a funeral to attend last night & wasn't really in a great mind set when posting the contest. I had a lot of emails this week from another creator discussing a collaborated project we are going to be working on. (which will be good news for all of you soon ) So with all this going on I missed some sprite emails last night while uploading. I do apologize for this to the entry I missed & thank that individual for not posting in this thread screaming at me. there was also a late entry.

Well due to the fact that I screwed up. I am resetting the voting & we are starting over.

Thanx for everyone's continued support in the competition & I will try not to let this happen again.

When you see 5 sprites up, start voting again. I am taking care of this now.

Man, that Gilgamesh really changed everything. I wanna say it was made by Warner (like most usual good sprites are) but it really doesn't look like his style. Really drawing a blank on who made it but it looks great.

Kinda the way it's been going as of late, the bigger the better, I guess. Even though some of the past work could of used a few more shades and a lot of touching up, guess it's just what the people want. Gilgamesh really does have a lot of great detail though, so I think it deserves it.

Man, that Gilgamesh really changed everything. I wanna say it was made by Warner (like most usual good sprites are) but it really doesn't look like his style. Really drawing a blank on who made it but it looks great.

Well, certainly i didn´t do that awesome sprite, and yes, that is not my style, i´m not doing sprites bigger than a Hi-res char, and try to not only spriting a picture, i think is better if it has something different or original.

But i must to congrat everybody who compite here, they show a lot of talent and skills.
I couldn´t compite in the last 2 contest due i´m busy updating some of my chars, but i hope to come back soon.

I don't know if you missed the last comp in which a smaller sprite has beaten two bigger ones, so I don't think that people are voting for size solely.

The people here seem to enjoy detailed sprites and it just so happens that the largest sprites are quite detailed.  But I still want to know how the creator of Gilgamesh converted that image into a sprite. But congratz to everyone who entered the contest.

Never said that the size of the sprite was the only thing that mattered, if it was, kenfan would of won once. XD Just said, that seems to be a big factor as of late.
