I would like to see more sprite contests... I just don't know how often I will participate with work and etc. ... I'll definitely try though.

Start it up again. It'll probably start off slow but it'll catch on. I'll definitely enter if the the catches my interest

What I really noticed about before and what I hated was we really weren't getting enough people to vote... there's like.. 50-100 people a day and we have over 20000 members on this site... really? Are just like.. none of them active... ever?

Well, the thing is that most of them don't post, they only seem to view the topics.

yeah,i want contests back for two simple reasons:
1-Promotes creativity and hard work to the contestants,trying to fulfill the requirements for the entry
Serves as well as promotion to the works of the contestants as well

2-If there are no sprite contest...we would have to shut down the section!

Yeah, The contest starts up again after Thanxgiving.

Any forum member can PM me some themes for the first competition over the next week. I will take them all into consideration & pick a good one from your suggestions.

It will be the week after Thanxgiving, & it will be set up like last time. Monday the theme will go up & then you will have until Friday to get your sprite done. Voting will be held on weekends as usual.

BTW Thanx to everyone sending me theme suggestions via PM. keep them coming in.

I hope talented sprite artists like Z999, batzarro , & A New Challenger show what they got in the competition. I see their edits all over this forum, but they don't enter. Are you all up for some friendly competition?

i think original ideas for the type of sprites you demand should do the trick. keep it alive. ive been out for a while, but im still willing to participate. you should probably set-up a poll for the next theme, make-up a bunch of theme ideas and set up a voting session on which theme would be best to go with.
