The new sprites look good . Besides the hose . When he'spulling back the punch , you made the hose to much in conjunction to the arm . It wouldnot follow the line of the arrm that much . Even make it be a little longer to look like it has it some slack . After all he does have to be able to move any way possible with it attached . Other than the hose , I can't really see anything else wrong .

Great job so far. Really liking the design of his Venom machine. If I were you though, I'd go through and do all the hit sprites first for him. If you can get through that and still be interested, you'll be fine. Believe me, that is the most boring job and the best to get out of the way first. :)

We stopped checking for monsters under our bed when we realized they were inside of us.

I'm doing most of the work at work. As of right now I dont have a clue on how to do any of that. I was reading through most of this forum and saw that there are some people that could do the coding for some of the artist. I have alot of moves in my mind that I want to give him but I kind of wanted to do all the sprites 1st. Thanks for the heads up.

I agree , making the get hit & falling sprites is boring & tedious . I always save them until last . I figure if I have all the other sprites of a character done . I will force myself to do the get hits just to finish . If I do it the other way around & do get hits first , I will get bored & stop doing them . Then I would probably never do another sprite again for that character .

What program do you use to do this with. I'm not going to give up on finishing this character. I really want toi see him in play.

Alright cool

I'm going to try another program the only thing I have right now is GIMP. Can anyone help I trying to figure out how to remove a body part from one character to another but every time I do take all the parts of the photo also. How do I just take his fist and not everything else?

I don't know about Gimp . But in photoshop you can just outline whatever part you want to take & drag it into another sprite .

With gimp you can select an area with a box, a circle, or a freehand lasso thingy, but you cant have it detect an outline.

i think with GIMP you can select the silhouette of an arm or leg or any part of the body and copy it to another body..but it's a little bit tedious to do...it's that what you wanna know? cause i could try to explain it to you  :)

Yeah that's what I wanted to know. I normally have to select to the arm and everything else in the square box I make. It makes it real hard to use another characters sprites.

ok it's more work to do for you...but here we go:

1. First you have to paint the part you want with a different colour that isn't in the sprite. If you want the muscles inside the silhouette of the arm.. you can paint it too

2. Then you do right click on the sprite and choose ''select'' (i think is that cause my gimp is in spanish, anyways its the 3rd option) then you wold see another list and choose ''with colour''

3. Finally you click on the colour that you painted, then you copy and paste the part on your sprite.

It's only the silhouette but i hope this can help you. good luck!

PS:Sorry if my english is bad..if you didn't understand i will put some images  ;*))

EDIT: here the pictures

  paint the arm

  select the colour

  copy the arm

  paste the arm

and this is how you have to have it

If you also want the shading and the rest of the arm, you have to do the same process with the colour and everything else. :)

Finally animated his light punch. I would've already had this done but I went on vacation for the weekend. Let me know what you guy's think.

I also made the tubing on him a little longer. Just to give him some slack. Take a look DARKTALBAIN and let me know if thats good.

I'm loving Bane in the New Secret 6 series by DC. You should think about having Deadshot,Ragdoll, or Catman as a helper, or do a Winpose with the Secret 6.

I know its trendy to hate helpers these days, but I love cameos from characters that might never get made.

CATMAN IS easy to do now that we have two open source batman characters. I will think about it.  :DB:
