A good game recorder?

hey guys i need some help ive been trying to make some vids BUT every recorder i try has something wrong with it heres what ive tried
Camtasia:what i was recording my mugen vids with but anything else sucks heres a vid i made with it http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P_TCfBrTZgU&feature=channel_page#


Fraps:WAYYYY to big of a file size about 1.9 gig for 2 minuets of doom 1 footage and i tried compressing it in wmm but it made the vid go 1fps

and lastly Camstudio:this as the last and best but it still sucks heres 2 vids

and i tried 70% but it was still bad and dysynched so does anyone know any other recorder that records smoothly and has a tolerable file size?

When you use Fraps you must use Virtual Dub to compress the file size to become smaller. Also look into Avidemux for video compression.

Fraps is meant to be used with really good Containers, compressors, and industry leading software. Its not a record with fraps then throw in the crap that is known as Windows movie maker and you have yourself a top quality gameplay vid. When you use fraps you need to use quality programs along with it.

oh ok thanks guys ill try those things out cause fraps was the best quality and didnt lag my game but the file size just was surprising anyway thanks again
