I plan on getting it for PS3. At first I was unsure. I decided that if the date got pushed back past the 28th I'd just use my birthday money on some used games. I found out today the date did get changed, but it actually got pushed up to the 24th. =D A store I go to usually sells games a couple days early so I'll check there and hopefully have it by the 22nd. Anyone else plan on getting it? I can't wait to play as Joe again. =D

I saw it at the arcade downtown, and now I'm really considering buying it. My only gripe is that Yuri isn't in it.

Yeah. Since they had to make all new sprites a lot of characters got left it. The only console exclusives are Mature and Elizabeth, which is pretty lame. Nothing against them, but I just think they could've choosen two better characters. K' and Yuri woulda been cool. It also would've been cool to see Oswald again. That dude was f'n PIMP.

2 words my friends: Downloadable Content. You know half those characters that got left out are gonna get added. SNK isnt as stupid as Capcom. Theyve already discussed the idea of adding in a number of the old characters that have fallen by the wayside.

I hope it's true about the possible dlc characters. NYC people: Check j &l game store cuz I was told by a friend that they have it. For the new yorkers who don't know where it is, it's on Canal and Elizabeth st. across the street from te police station. I'm in Baltimore rigt now, so if anyone can confirm my friend's findings that would bre a plus!!

I live in NYC and I know that store, but I got it at "Video Games New York" which is on 6th street and 3rd avenue in Manhattan.

The games........ disappointing. =\ I was really excited to play it, but after playing for about an hour all my excitment was replaced with an empty feeling. Characters are missing moves, theres no boss (you read that right, NO BOSS), and theirs only 3 modes of play. Arcade (which is more of a time attack mode), Versus, and Online. No story mode, no trials, just those 3 modes and practice. I havn't tried the online play yet since my connections being a jerk today. Hopefully that'll be really awesome and make the $60 I spent worth it.

Games not out yet but there's no way I'm paying $60.00 for a game that feels like it's not finished. All of the moves are missing characters missing and no BOSS what's that all about. I would of liked to see Rugal with some new sprites.

I think SNK/Playmore rushed it. This game had so much potential.

im gettin it but probably not day and date like sf4 because 1 i like kof but im not that big of a kof fan to drop 60 on it and 2 while terry is my favorite kof char there are

of great chars missin like K'. it is pretty tho and Mature is such a one eyed hottie

It was released yesterday. :/ I agree however on the point that they rushed the game.

well....i played it...and it sheerly is a disappointment...as some posted before there is NO boss

...i dont know what the hell thats about. if the lack of characters and modes is a way to make DLC, its defiently not right to sell you a half assed game and then re-sell you things that should have came with it.

MVC2 comes out for XBOX LIVE on Wednesday

BlazeBlu Collectors Edition is out...the singular game will be out next month i recommend everyone to not waste there money on KOF...and cop BlazeBlu, it is most def, a winner

Chinatown Fair Acrade on Motts st in Chinatown has them both...side by side....literally, you can just see the difference in game play with them side by side. iam not a big KOF fan but i was hoping this was going to be nice, unfortunately, it isnt...

They didn't leave out characters to make DLC, they did it because since they had to draw completely new sprites I would've taken way too long if they had a huge roster like the older games. I do agree about the game being disappointing though. I think they should've just done what Namco did with Tekken 6 and released to arcade then continued working on it before bringing it to consoles. Either that or this could've just been downloadable for $30.

Its just the frikin DLC. Every developer uses it as a crutch anymore. Release something half done and trust the DLC to fill in the holes.
