Just got interested in the IMT Shields, I worked on one just today, and now I'm wondering if I'm doing it right. Of course, what better place to ask for constructive criticism than the place where said construct originated.

So, just to get it out of the way, here it r:

I want you (in your spare time) to look at this thing, detest it, and list every thing wrong with it. And when I say detest, I truly do mean detest - hate it, and hopefully everything right with it will outweigh what is wrong.

Very stylish, I like it.

Only thing I can say is it's a little difficult to figure out what's going on in that background, there.

It's just... green. Lot o' it, too.

And yes, I probably should have made the background bigger. Now that I put it out there, it's amazing how many defects I'm noticing.

its funny how that works, huh?... u only see stuff after you make it, take a few minutes to cool and look,

i love it myself, it looks good but the green could blend with the pic a little better... try red ^_^

I love the green! and the work around the template border is really good.
The things I don't like are: The green inner border - most noticable on the left side on Doomsday's face & the size of the background pic you've chosen. this size would wourk with a nice sprite in front of it (but I haven't seen any nice DD sprites).

As for noticing stuff once you've posted it, We all do that

. that's why it's important to save the unfinished product aswell as the final product

I agree on the picture being a little smaller, but the green is good, reminds me of kryptonite!!

That shield looks great, the shading on the detail is really nice.

Gotta say, I am loving the friendlies. I took all the comments, cobbled them together (tried to, anyway) and I made a few more examples. Aaand here they are!

Any new criticisms?

I like the first one the most . But , that's just because I like room to add a sprite . The one you are using looks great also . The third one is too plain & needs some work . I just don't really like that pic inside at all , I guess
