I think it could be cool... He definitely can make his voice sound like Solid Snake... but he doesn't exactly look like him...

Yeah, his nose is nothing like Snakes, but I still think he'd have that cool all american hero feel come to life. He was a great Batman, the best John Connor, and I think he'll make a great Solid Snake, he should be able to nail down the voice with what he was able to do with Batman.

. I remember rewatching Batman Begins the otherday and thinking in the opening, he'd make a pretty good Snake. Well we're just going to have to wait and see until something actually happens. If the movie actually does get made, I hope it will be good, because I know some movie based games get put in limbo and die, like that Fear Effect movie.

Why do people think he has to look exactly like Snake? Seriously, as long as his looks can represent Snake he doesn't need to look like him exactly.

As for Bale being a good John Conner... I've heard otherwise.

because thats the point of a movie about a person or series.

If batman dint look like batman in all his movies would you believe that he was batman.

What if he wore a different mask and no cape with pants and a black shirt.

You'd be pissed because he doesnt look like the batman from the series or from whatever you first saw batman.

I like it when the actor looks the part of the character he is playing.

It brings more realism to the movie..

If you're going to bring Batman up use Bruce Wayne as an example, not the actual hero who requires a costume. And Bruce Wayne himself had no real set look as far as movie actors go, but then again as a comic series originally it's a moot point.

I'm saying Christian Bale needs only to be able to represent Solid Snake with acting and looks. It's not necessary to look just like the guy.

Mind you, I haven't seen the movie, and *I'm* not saying Bale isn't a good Connor. However, this link was the first time I've heard about the movie, so I can't be sure about the general consensus of the movies.

However, at least he explains why he has a distaste for the new Terminator movie instead of going "It sucks".

bale would make a great snake as well as h.jackman but bale 's acting skills are a lot better than jackman's, i would pick bale as well.

Personaly, Ide rather have David Hayter play snake in the movie.

Why do you ask?

1. He's the voice of snake.

2. Snake looks like him.

3. He's played snake before, live action like.

The only reason they wouldn't want him in the movie is because accidents happen... and if he passes... like.. who's gonna voice Snake in the games??

That guy's review was just weird. He is putting it as the end all be all terminator movie but its not susposed to be like that. Yes the movie is set to the future(after judgement day) but its not the future that you see in the flash backs of the first terminator with the t-800 laying waste to everyone and thing this the the future before all that happens so that is why some of the things he says has to happen and why the terminaotrs suck at killing and why they are capturing humans for study and not just destroying them. I will put it this way....if you go to see salvation and expect to see how the war ends well that sucks for you, I mean its only 10 years after d-day and john is still not the leader of anything. So I will leave it at that just incase

Actually, he's not really puting it as the "end all be all", considering he said that they were expecting to make a series out of this or something. And he understands the whole different future thing. One of his gripes is the fact that they're apprently stuck on the concept that John's supposed to be this "chosen one".
