heres a crazy idea... a "mod week" meaning, make a avy of your favorite mod (no swords... just a sheild version)

well anyway, I pick marvel & DC (it is IMT afterall, so it would fit for a first week thing)

but for now these are great start offs... though next time make it a surprise, cause if I wanted to... I could make one of each picks and hold them and say there new and then pm them to u (I aint doing that... heck I aint even planning on competing)

You have to make the time to make it run smoothly . I mean really you just have to make the time to post the theme , get the submissions from your PM & upload to your account , post the voting thread & winners thread . Repeat for eternity

It should be orderly , set at certain days/times , or close to it each week .

do you think if I did decide to "take it over" it would be a good idea to put the contest in the deviant area of here?... that way I can literaly watch everything (I can modify any post that way...)

Why , you expecting trouble ?

You shouldn't really have to " modify " anyone's post . If you have to modify your post , you can do that where ever you make the thread . So there is really no need to have it in the Deviant thread , unless that's where you really want it .

I'm telling you just make the # 1 rule . ABSOLUTELY no talking smack about other people's work . If they entered the contest & do this their entry will be disqualified . If they just decided to come into the thread & dog things one of the mods here will take care of it accordingly .

everyone should enter and if Cd isn't running it he wshould enter too. I'm gonna try and enter it each week (unless it has a really whacked out theme)

I know why you thought of putting it in the deviant section:
You'd be able to get rid of any posts that are likely to start flame wars like we had in the sotw comps

Also, you don't have to upload the submissions to your own account if you get them in a pm. just click 'quote',copy the image link and post it where you need it to be.

Don't worry , I will keep on eye on the comp & make sure flame wars do not start up .

You can't just quote it & copy the link . Look at my Medieval Spawn link at the end of this post . It has " DARKTALBAIN " right in the link . If someone else just copied that link they would know it was coming from my photobucket account . Most people have their names on their account . For that reason you have to save the graphic & upload it to your own account . That is if you are trying to keep this anonymous , of course .
