Glad you guys are looking forward to him, gives me more motivation to continue on. :)

For awhile there I was sorta lagging spriting Rhino just because I'd have to deal with T. Hawk. Making this hyper though has re-inspired me to get back to editing more and more. Sad thing is, at this point I'd rather deal with making plain ol' hit sprites then dealing with T. Hawk. :D

Oh yea, and to top it off, I need to change all the chops from either T. Hawk or Zangief to fists.. And I suck at spriting fists or hands, period. \-/o

Congratulations on the progress Batzarro! Very nice work! It's nice to see Rhino got his topic that he deserves!

I'm intrigued to see what his play style will be, and what moves he'll have.

And I'm sure editing T Hawk will pay off in the end and make him more original.

And with this I realised I really should post more and be less of a lurker!

The nails look very authentic to be honest and if you make them a little smaller I think it might be a good idea to hold on to them.

Thanks everyone for the continues comments and support, means a lot.

Now then.. I got done making Rhino's hyper.. Was looking for a pose to make into a taunt and ran into some really interesting Zangief sprites that gave me an idea too good to pass up.. So, without further ado.. This is what Rhino will do to the competition when he gets released..

Think it should be a win pose.? :DxDie
(Sadly, since it's made with required sprites from the opponent, it's very possible to do.)

Now, before someone else gets to say something, I don't feel this is crossing the line in any way. If I thought it was, I wouldn't of posted it. I mean there is dancing in this sorta fashion too, isn't there.? :D

If someone's offended by this, I am honestly sorry.

Wow, go Rhino! :p

Now then, actual comments! I like the toenails, they're textured very nicely and in my opinion save Rhino from being a bland and undetailed character, which is what most of the Rhino edits suffer from.

Hey Batz

To speak to you from a artistic prospective id have to agree with Kriven and who ever else said keep the nail textured.  The Rhino is completely gray and is vary boring color. Pallet swaps could add some entertainment but you want the original pallet to be attractive too if not the most attactive.

Here what the problem is:  The toes and his horns are off balance. All the attention is drawn to his feet because they too big. keep the texture  but shink  the toes ( Or the texture) so that you have balance and the attention is brought back to his body once more.

Ps The character is looking great. Im not not Rhino fan by far but i am an artist and i respect good work when i c it

Glad you're all enjoying this, know I have. Just for the sake of keeping this joke going a bit longer, how about some variety.?

Now, this was meant to be a joke, and nothing else. Just for the hell of it though, should this be an actual win pose that has incredible odds against it for coming up.? Like, one in a million.? Billion.? What do you guys think.?

As for the actual comments regarding his nails. He'll still have them, but shorter. With a set of different colors for those who would rather have them match his costume. So, all is fine in that department, just haven't added them yet and won't be 'til much further down the line so I deal with them all at once. :)

The term... "You could've been RAPED!! ........ in the butt!" comes to mind.... :DxDie

Anyways, I don't think it should be in.. it's just too weird... maybe if someone makes a VERY WEIRD VERSION of Rhino.. then... I think it should be put in that one... If you're going serious with this creation... then don't put it in..

what the  :o   :DxDie Rhino what do you think your doing? your supposted to hit the opponents not rape them      he is so confused :-??  ;*)) oh the shame o.O# ;*))  :DxDie

I have an idea to add for the first one with rouge by the way for some extra laughs if you want it.   have gambit come in and catch them them both and have him say something like rouge how could you then have him throw some of his explosive cards at them both which sends the pair of them flying then rhino gets up charges and headbutts gambit off screen  ;*))  :DxDie

just a idea that I thought I'd share for laughs ;*))

oh and I have another idea if your doing some more animations with that move how about having one with black cat since there both spider-man characters just makes sense to me :-??

just another thought I thought I might as well share since Im here ;*))

later everyone :) ;*))

Alright, done screwing around. Haven't sprited the last two or three days as I've been sick with some really annoying headaches. However, even though I'm still sick, I ran into a base I just needed to try out for Rhino. It's only the upper body, I need to add the muscle detail and more myself, but I feel it's well worth it to make him more original. Anyways, here's a new quick animation with the base.

This'll be put to good use. ::salute::

the new upper body base you're trying out looks nice. can't tell who it is. Is it the bird head guy from MOTW?

also, what do you plan on doing with his sounds? Rhyno's had a tone of different VAs over the years, but all of em pretty much have the same tone. (except the ultimate version. lol)

I think you should really do a win pose like that cause it would be really funny and random to the people that dont be on this forum. When the try him out they want know nothing about it and its really funny the first time around. It'll give him more hype  ::salute::

Always keep forgetting to mention this.. To everyone, I'm looking for someone that could do Rhino's voice for me. I have the sound rips from MUA for him, but someone doing it themselves would work better. To me, he doesn't really have any signature sound, so anyone that's interested in trying can go anyway they want with it. If you wanna try imitating his TAS or MUA voice, then go for it. If you got your own spin on it, feel free.

Whoever wants to try out, PM me the sounds. Two or three enraged and calmer type sound clips would work great.

Thanks in advance to anyone who tries out. :)

You could use some of Juggernaut's sounds from X-Men:  Next Dimension.  That is, if anyone has that game other than me.

I think that his voice in that game is really deep, and would probably fit Rhino a lot better than Juggy.  The only problem is, there might not be enough sounds.  Anyhow, give it some thought.

Also, love the character.  Looks great, and so far, I haven't met a Spidey villain I haven't liked
