Tadakatsu turns his back, and puts his spear back to his rack, as a sign of a warrior's denial of a fight. He feels that this Kurow has no morals of a warrior, a fighter, nor even the morals of wielding his weapon.

Watching this, Ryu # 18 approaches, looks at Kurow and says to Tadakatsu: "Do not worry: I'm taking care of this. Even if I'm not American, I believe in what the U.S.A. stands for; so I'm gonna show you how Americans are capable of fighting honourably, and I'm gonna show this guy what fighting honourably means.", then turns to Kurow and says with a seemingly uninterested look on his face: "Bring it on."

However, Kenji already rode a Japanese Dropship, as orders coming from the Empress Gin, to take him back to headquarters for a status report.

He told Kurow though:
"I don't fight with young boys... give yourself 10 more years to live before you can actually be worthy to fight me"

Then he turns to Tadakatsu and as the latter is walking away, says: "You call yourself a warrior? The true essence of a warrior is having something to fight for. And that does not need any orders, but one's faith in whatever your reason to fight is. I pity sociopaths like yourself..."

"......That was nothing....I wasn't hurt by THAT!!" Kurow said as he stood up. He turned Darkside into a knife and threw it towards Ryu. He then ran quickly, catching the knife before it hits Ryu, and points it at Ryu's neck.
"...I'd end your life.....but....I want to know....what are you truly fighting for?"
