A sprite is a two-dimensional computer graphic image that is integrated into a larger scene. In M.U.G.E.N sprites may come in various files formats.
- PCX - was one of the first computer image standards and is used and the standard format for Mugen.
- PNG - stands for Portable Network Graphic and is a vary popular graphic type and is convertable into a PCX file through the use of one of many graphic programs or Fighter Factory.
- BMP - stands for bitmap which was one of the earlier developed graphic formats. Like the PNG file, this graphic type is convertable into a PCX file through the use of one of many graphic programs or Fighter Factory.
