a pokemon i havent seen again

i remember when i use to like playing pokemon and i liked everytime new ones would come out everyone wanted to see them first, but there was one that i saw in a magazine that i have never seen again . this happened after mew was the new pokemon.it was a red dragon( really red like charmeleon not like charizard) with purple spikes on his back and had boxing gloves. i know it was a pokemon because you could see a trainer and ash's hand pointing towards them.

it has to be fanart i knew every single pokemon out here and i never seen or heard of a red dragon with purple spikes on it's back.

Actually Pokemon sometimes are different. In the anime, most pokemon look different. Like there's 2 different color gyarados'.
In the cards I remember one type of Pikachu had like a yellow tail thing at the end, and another had the black.
