Daigo amazed us with his Akuma demon flip combo in 1998, overnight a million players started using it, Daigo is the one playing as Ryu in this vid, he switched to Ryu as his main character for moral reasons, but the Akuma player is using the demon flip combo i'm talking about...

Kid Daigo, that was an awesome tribute.

Daigo WAS one of the best players out there that I've ever seen up close. I remember meeting him through my friend Nick at EVO a few years back. Too bad he's retired now...

Yeah I remember the first time i met him, was back at evo 2004, I missed it when he parried Justin Wong's Chun-Li, I nearly cried... but I did talk to him afterwards... then I nearly fainted,

He doesn't play MVC2, and I can see why, MVC2 is not your "classic" fighting game, and it's so cheap, , butI bet if he did no doubt he would be extremely good at it, and I'm not saying he's the best, I'm saying he's one hell of a player and "IMO" he's the best! Shoot Justin Wong's hella cool at MVC2, but I'm sticking with Daigo, I love him... !
