they might be able to pull it off... if they intro Gambit, Thunderbird & bring back Nightcrawler! Also, remember what "Phoemix" means... they brought her back before, why not in the movie? Also, remember the movies aren't cannon, I look at it like comics are the base, then the movies/cartoons are same, but different elements are changed for that story to progress, kinda like each story takes place on a world, in single universe in an even bigger multiverse...

well first of all gambit has already been confirmed, they even have the actor already...even tho i didint recognize him.     but yes they should stop x men cause everyone is dead. unless they come back cause on comics super heroes always die but they always come back.   somethiing that pisses me off is that they make wolverine look like the leader of the x-men, it should be cyclops.    i completely dissagree with bringing onslaught cause like i said it took the whole marvel universe to defeat him.  and you know if they had onslaught on the movie there going to do some gay crap were wolverine takes out onslaught by him self or some dumb crap.   but they need to put apocalypse already!!
