Hi Mugen Lovers!!

Hello everyone!

I am a new member of this forum but an "old" creator for the world of mugen.

I have been back in business for a few months and today I am here to offer you a new stage for mugen (Winmugen and Mugen 1.0 / 1.1).

The stage was programmed by me (I also edited the train for a small part) while the graphics were repopulated and created by Jebo14 (the link to his account on DeviantArt can be found at the bottom of the article).

It is a railway setting near the coast and for this reason the title is "Seaside Railway".

Below you will find some images and a preview video.
In the video there is a piece showing the stage during a fight and also a piece showing the stage in its entirety and the various animations.

The train was slightly edited by me, but the bulk of the work was done by Jebo14.

Update "24 Dec 2019":

* animated sea
* animated plants both before the level where the train passes in the foreground level (to give a sense of "movement and life").
* modified the delta of some levels

Many Thans to Heka/Hekadontreides for helping in this new update ;)

Merry Christmas To All!!

You can download the new stage from my site, but before leaving you at the links I remind you that the stage is animated, and is suitable for a 4: 3 video resolution (640 * 480 pxs), in the ZIP file you will also find the Mugen version 1.0 which differs for some small value in the DEF code.

My site: www.kaints.com

Visit the profile on Deviant Art of Jebo14 from this link (maybe even leave a comment on his work ;) ): https://www.deviantart.com/jebo14/

Thank you for your attention and good download.

P.s .: I am updating my Chars, slowly new versions will be released for both WinMugen and Mugen 1.0.
The works are slow because I would like to add something new to everyone so far I hypothesize an updated version of the pushpush system (created eons ago and used in a few characters like EvilSoul, Ken Washio and Jun Shiratori).
Give me time eheheh

P.s.: I decided to use this post instead of creating a new one since the background is always the same.

(I don't speak English very well, forgive some errors heeheh - use google translator -)

The stage is good, but I found it a bit static. I think that decreasing the Delta command values horizontally across the sky, sea, and cloud sprites will not give us the feeling that the chars are moving in a static image. This is my criticism.

oh, its very good to see some old friends back!
I saw the video at your Twitter, is pretty cool. Maybe you could add some movement to the water (there are several ways to do it).

And I agree with Kater there.

Hi Kater15, Nice to meet you!!

Hi O'Ilusionista, how are you?

The problem with animating the sea is that I used the tiling technique, so I also don't have a clear idea of how to animate it.

What do you suggest?
I try to create 3 or 4 frames and animate them in a classic way or is there any other "trick" that can be used!?!?

***

The advice and suggestions are always welcome are those that allow me to improve or am I wrong !? What do you say?

I hope to have a new update very soon to offer you.

bye

Cool stage. Bgctrls will help you animate the water if you're using 1.0. If it's 1.1 just code it like normal. I'd suggest parallax on the floor and maybe even the water.

Do your best to become stronger. Become stronger, so you can do your best.

Animating the sea would be a nice, sky could use and additional layer with semitransparent clouds.

A slight variation in the ground too. You can collect some SNKish sand/dust/gravel patterns and parts from AoF2 Crawley , KoF96, AoF3 Cactus Gas and others.

Hi Navs41!

Hehehehe in the new update the sea will be animated ;)
I also found some "animated" plants to use in to this stage.

Hi LightFlare I have found a new frames so in the new update the sea will be animated but i am interested in your idea.
-  How would you have animated the sea using only the Bgctrrls!?!?

For the main floor I decided to use only a new Delta value but also for this part of the stage, new ideas are always welcome!!!

Excuse my slow response but I'm busy in real life (in the end I have my 41 years ahahaha) and the approaching
holidays don't help ehhe

See you soon with this stage update.
