Bit disappointed by this when I read about it on shoryuken.com. I think the game is fine and so much tech has been created. Lotta players are making headway with the tools the have already. Another rebalance may *break* the game...again  :(

i dont know why they are messin with it AGAIN. AE was good enough...

for all that they need to mess with SF X T er something....smh just @ss backwards stuff...

wheres my damn time capsule so i can go back to the days of just seeing super street fighter. MVC. MK. KOF 94 and samurai showdown? they all had its lil broken ways but we all loved it as kids and had no choice but to deal with their build as is and didnt have the net and b*tchin folks online complaining about this and that to be fixed..We ALL had to wait for the sequel for better play..If a character dealt too much damage we all just figured out a slick way to counter it or defeat it.  It always felt good at the arcades around a bunch a people when a person tried to use a cheap character on you but you kicked @ss anyway because you fond out a pattern you practiced on....THATS GOLD!

i think its overkill to keep patching games like that especially when it comes to fighting games...you can fix and break it at the same time. *sigh* hence Rolento in SF XT when they tried to patch it the first time 8=|

they need to just wow us and bring that CVS1&2 Bundle for XBL & PSN online with some lil updgrades and be done with it^^

Actually, Capcom and Midway made several revisions to their games during the 90's.
Street Fighter II for instance had at least 2 arcade revisions, Champions Edition and New Challengers (Super SF2). Not to mention the turbo versions on consoles.
Mortal Kombat 3 had a similar revision, Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3. They added more character that fans cried about that weren't in the game, like Scorpion.
It wasn't too drastically different between then and now. But I see what you mean.
I do appreciate that they aren't just pumping out sequels left and right. It would get old fast. Nothing would be really special about it after a 5 or so games.

It would be nice if there wasn't so much criticism over video games these days. They expect so much from fighting games these days. Personally all I really need is an arcade mode and 2 player mode. The gameplay should be enough to keep my attention, not a ton of frivolous content that I have to unlock or something. I never play online, it's never been my thing, so I never have to worry about that functionality. :P

theyre probably waiting for everyone to get used to sfxtekken 2013 before balancing again. with marvel they have made it perfectly clear that they have no interest in updating it. ssf4 has been their best game and is still doing well with the fans so a balance update made from fan feedback is cool they might try to patch the unblockable set ups ppl have been finding in specific character match ups because of weird hitbox detections. im hoping we get more characters since ono has shown interest in  a mod made by someone that put rolento into ssf4

Now that was damn freakin creative^^ like the dude said aside of that lil off animation of the stick being held the wrong way on the right side of the screen its a damn good mod. i see why it got Onos attention!

OH see that is indeed hella creative! they should be hiring this dude or those mods people!  cause if this gets a full go ahead on a company front.. they just should go ahead and make Capcom Fighters Eternal! Bring in Rival Schools and those lost SF characters that havent been seen in any up to date stuff plus some. I know Djj4life of the Crom he does this Mod thing too.  Thats some hot stuff right here Kai.  :thumbsup:

At EVO Capcom announced teo new items:

1) Everyone who gets top 8 in SSFIVAE and UMvC3 at EVO are entered into a Capcom grand final tournament.

2) AE2013 will include Hugo, Elena, Rolento and Poison. I'm glad to see the SSFIV roster growing with the models that were made for SFxT.

Acey: hmm on subject of number 2.....i like those characters and all..but i just dont see why they not put in 4 others NOT done yet..like Karin,and R.Mika then dip into SF3 and bring in like Alex and Necro ( heck take Q if not Necro lol) . Those other 4 are indeed cool additions and giving each 2 separate supers to choose from opens new ideas for them. Plus a new Boss added if beats Seth...could be introducing Urien or Gill or some new guy right before SF3 arc starts up ( since its set after Sf2 and before Sf3.) .

lol yeah thats a given right there. no qualms about that. i just would thought to add someones more...not done. makes it more worth the bnuy for me. I might still buy it. but ehhh we shall see.

Capt Commando in SF4 AE 2013? interesting but that i seriously doubt that. again...we shall see. :O*D

Cool another Sf4 update.  I'll get it seeing that I lost my disk copy ssf4 so I can't even play my download ssf4ae anymore.  I really wish Capcom would just toss in the remainder of the missing sfa and sf3 characters at this point.  I wouldn't mind seeing some sf ex characters again too.

I'm a fan of keeping SFIV alive and updated. I want more content, more balancing, and I don't want to have to buy a 40 to 60 dollar game every year (e.g. KoF)
