Seriously just stop being lazy and go through the threads here and on MMV and on Guild. Lots of people have already stated things there. Cybaster and Alex went into great detail.

I think the "lazy" comment was not particularly necessary, on the other hand, every creater should use ever resource available, especially feedback.

Young, random question, do YOU yourself see that the "Varnage" Attack as a good super? Did he even do something like that in the comics? I dont recall.

i see it as an ok hyper. i give it kudos for originality. me im not really a fan of helper hypers of characters that are already made. to be honest i have not seen many comics (but i do read them) but i dont ever recall a "varnage" the closet thing ive ever seen was someone who made this on deviantart

Hey guys, here's the Symbiote Team's update of TOPS' Venom. Lots of bugs were fixed and a few new pals added. If there's anything still wrong with it, let me know, we want to make sure everything's fixed for the eventual full game release.

EDIT: Link updated.

Also you have some issues with priorities in the following animations
This problem is kinda frowned on as described here

Let me open a parenthesis here.

The argument of Priority Infinite is not accepted by everyone and in many cases, he or fell down or is deemed inappropriate. There is a consensus among all creators.

I'll explain why, using two sample images:

In both cases, I do not think that is correct the P2 set the character to attack the parts that are being used to attack him. In the example where tentacles come out of the chest, is correct to have "infinite priority."

Take the example of Igniz: If using the whip and you hit the whip, who do you think would be hurt? The whip or the arm of the person who hit him? In many cases where a weapon is used, you should not put the blue box collision over the entire image. A sword, for example, should only have the blue box on its cable, not on its blade.

I, and other creators, we use the principle of motion of the blow, and not exactly cover the entire image. You should think about the movement as a whole, not just as a still frame.

Please don't let the Venom update get buried in bickering about priorities again. If there are any problem with the update (bottom of page 4) please let us know what they are, problems in original version are probably fixed.

Its not bickering, I was just giving my opinion and sharing my thoughts, its a technical discussion.
Since I am an older creator, it should be read, at least. But, anyway...

great char. I think that we all must pay atention to any feedback that could help to improve our char.  like the example that ilusionista explain. its not a criticism is a feedback

I have a ton of respect for O Ilu, but last time this topic had so much arguing about priority that another topic had to be split off, and I was under the impression that the majority of the priority problems were fixed. Problems with priority in this version can be talked about here but continuing a three month old discussion that probably doesn't pertain to the character anymore is just off topic and I wanted to head it off at the pass before we have three pages of it again.

:-??

Let's not do the same thing with arguing about arguing about priority, either, or I'll have to start making Inception jokes...

On that note, Young, there's more feedback about priority over at Guild.

EDIT: Link updated because I did a dumb thing.

Great character guys.  Only feedback I have is that his lvl 3 super left him a but too vulnerable for my personal tastes.  Also his sound samples seem a little low volume wise for the intros and win poses.

Otherwise this a is a great interpretation of Venom and I'm just disappointed I didn't grab this one sooner.  Great work!

Thought I might address this, but the web ball is an infinite. If you keep doing it, the enemy won't be able to move and can do it until his/her health is zero.

Other than that, this Venom is great. Keep up the good work. :)

Gotcha! Thanks. We're gonna wait for a bit more feedback before doing an update so that there aren't 376 versions floating around, but that'll definitely be fixed fairly soon.  ::salute::

Another note:  He seems to have an issue with cloning both with himself and the opponent.  I don't know the correct technical data to search for, but the common theme I am seeing is with the web ball and possibly the symbiote coffin.  I have had this happen 5 times so far since I downloaded him last night and in all instances, it has happened when I was going projectile crazy.
