getting extra stages to show up?

I'm using international mugen tournament blue as my screenpack and for some reason, even though I add extra stages in the config file, the only stages I can actually access in-game are the ones associated with characters. How can I get just any and all of the stages in my stages folder to show up randomly for any character that doesn't have a stage specifically associated with it?

Some things which worked for me & might work for you too.

You must have the  ‘SFF’ and ‘DEF’ files for each stage otherwise the stage wont run.

1.First make sure the stage DEF and SFF files are in the STAGES folder inside the MUGEN Folder .
2.Go to your chosen Motif folder and open the SELECT DEF  file.
3.Scroll down right to the bottom of the file to where it says
‘[Extra Stages ]↓  and look for where it says    ’stage/stage0.def.↓’
4.Add your stages underneath  by typing in this format :
‘ stages/thestageyouwant.def↓’

I've also learned a lot from downloading Full Game Mugens and opening up their SELECT DEF Files to see what other people did to make their stages work.
