Dude I so wish you used a different base....I'm not trying to be rude but dude its like instead of being Luke Cage, he's more like Luke "Sagat"....

I don't see anything in him that makes him feel like Luke Cage at all....Its like Sagat all the way. I didn't kno Luke Cage knew Muay Thai..... just sayin....

I hope that someone decides to help you out with this, and make him play more original and like Luke cage really should.... I see what you were trying to do but dude....He looks like a Black Sagat with Luke Cage's clothes on....So like Vegeta did with Goku, its's like Luke Cage fused with Sagat and became like what I said : "Luke Sagat"......

Yea, if anything, using the Sagat Sprites were cool but you need more variety like mix it up to where I people can't tell its sagat... Like use some Balrog punches, birdie punches or someone other than just Sagat

Also, base for him....hmmm Might have done a combination of Sagat mixed in with Balrog and maybe someone else.... Using Birdie's chains was a good idea though because I saw that you used them.

Let me do some research and see if I can't giv you more of a better base...

I agree on the Sagat angle. I'm gonna say bulk him up a bit too. Somewhere between Sagat and Zangief. And maybe a more custom head too...

Also, there is an easy infinite, his D,DF,F+P, repeated in a corner. And in my opinion, bulletproof seems cheap that it takes no damage and completely neutralizes all combos. I'd say make it perfect super armor and all, but have him still take damage.

not sure about the stages whereabouts, video was made by a friend

moveset was designed to have a mix birdie and balrog, the special kick was something i thought would give him some depth as luke cage is a streetfighter, not just a boxer, so u wanted more kicks aswell, but just happens to be bulletproof

the bulletproof armour hyper needs to be that way, coz thats his super power, how can you be bulletproof and still take damage? maybe i can lessen the time it runs for, but essentially he should be impervious (the guy couldnt even get surgery, his skin wont let it )

i used a mix of zangief, sagat, and tiger for his base, i tried balrog, but the movements balrog makes are fairly similar to that of sagats already

the main reason i used sagat is his size is perfect, and i think the demenor,cheezy grins and build, suited what i wanted to see from a capcom based luke cage

Im not goin to front..this would of been a good luke cage if he didn't look or resemble sagat so much..i might of considered keepin him but yea..other then that its not bad tho just reminded me to much of sagat at 1st glance

Kind of a harsh reason to ditch him. Did you want to ditch Thor cause he looks much like Alex cosplaying as Thor? Did you want to ditch [Acey's] Haggar cause he looks like a regular skin colored Hulk? Just because you can see what base they use doesn't mean it doesn't deserve being kept.

Now see, it's comments like this, that make this character exactly what it is... Sagat with Luke Cages clothes on...! The idea of a Balrog/Birdie mix would make perfect sense, but I see NO Balrog here. I do see Birdie with the chain throw and all, but where on Earth is the Balrog part!? I seriously suggest that you find and use another base for him. Luke Cage is a street brawler. Sagat's kicks look OBVIOUSLY Muay-Thai, and do NOT fit Luke's style at all... If he has any kicks at all, they should look more like someone who's untrained in any martial arts discipline. Maybe a front kick or so, but NOT any kicks that look to have some technique behind them. We're only trying to help man, not bash... USE ANOTHER BASE!!
