you know what's stupid about this game?

4 random selects.

1 random select thing and three characters that do the same damn thing. lame. I would rather have actual characters.

Everything about this game feels rushed. like both versions of MVC3 or the original SF4.

... Technically only one is a complete random select. One is for female weapon styles, one is for male characters. lol I do like how the game feels control-wise though.

No, in UMvC the maximum health you can take of it 1/3 of an opponents health. In this its bassically on hit and your dead.

I've had Kilik, and Sigfried 100% me as well.... I think its just the AI though.

Just played online some. I had practically no problems (except with NM's :F1 orb-thing \-/o \-/o). I love the inclusion of the chatbox.

idk how eveyone else feels about that but  i liked the katana and shuriken and the staff class. if they could mak clsees for sc3 then im sure they could have taken the time to add new ones that were good or improve the ones that were already there. it added variety yo the game with the custom classes and then the option to use another character's style when they leveled up instead of forcing you to make the same characters over again with a different look in this game.

I agree Swiz (without the level up thing). I would have preferred they push back the release to polish it up a bit with more non-mimic characters, more than one style exclusive to custom characters, a storyline that invloves everyone, and friggin' arcade mode endings. They nailed the online aspect though.

so i guess there was a reason i didnt preorder this! man i am getting more and more dissappointed when i read yall posts on this game. i thought this would been the absolute best in the series by now .  :(

It's not a horrible game. Nowhere near as good as 2 or even 3, but better than 4 in terms of gameplay IMO. And like I said, online mode is great. I would recommend it if you are looking for just fighting and an awesome character creator.

Don't let the criticism keep you away, bro. This game is still worth it. I'm actually stoked mostly because Namco actually listened to the people when it came to SC4's character creator and added and edited things to make it that much better in SC5. Most slots for customization, the addition of a legitimate trench coat, and the stickers make the detailing in it that much better.

 ^^(PM)^ guys! wheew #:-S ok im have now renewd faith. yeah i really would want it for both those reasons shadaloo.  character creation is always a great thing especially if it allows a lil elbow room in customization. i dont ask for too much but long as its cool ( and there is a legit trenchcoat like ralph said....YES!..Adam Blade here i come!) and the gameplay mechanics are good with the controls, i am sold. plus the graphics are awesome. :thumbsup: i be looking forward to gettin it soon. thanx guys.
