Best game in the series. I really hope there's an online Conquest mode thing in this one. I spend so much money on SC2's Conquest mode in the arcades.
And while we're walking down memory lane:

And here's mine. :-" :

Not that stupid stuff..... ughhh. Maybe I should main cervantes...... jk.
If you did, I could just grab you out of the air :D But in all seriousness, using Astaroth's Command Throws is tricky business unless you can set everything up exactly how you want it.
I'm getting it opening day, and besides the main reason I'm getting the game (character creation) I hope the gameplay and story have more put into it then 3 and 4. Especially the gameplay, oh how I loved you SCII, you and youre gameplay that wasnt mash heavy.
I just miss playing as Hwang- er, I mean Assassin.

Depends on how broke cervantes is in this game, lol.

Well just feel lucky you still have your main, my poor bro mained Talim and Yun-sung. He was really hoping they'd be in this game too. But namco's just to lazy to re-design them so they're excluded.

yeah i miss SC2 badly. i loved that heck out of that game.  "assassin " was awesome. had very crucial moves . Cervantes i would use if i was getting pissed off at the cpu for cheating. he is like SC version of Bison to me. lol.  That flying across screen with the twin swords was what made him feel like Bison even more. loved the heck out of him...straight to victories. now all i need is Spawn with Agony!! oh wait...hope he in the character creator at least...my Astaroth killer aint around no more! i am gonna get F.U.B.A.R for sure! o.O#

Tough luck, bro. I'm sure you'll find someone that can deal with me though.
I'm not sure if I'll keep using Maxi, though... I've found that Mitsurugi is capable of dealing with any Maxi.

yeah i hope so. i am a lil rusty. lol. but Maxi was my dude. with Kilik i could keep a good distance and i hope Mitsurugi astill has that up close grab where he slices you up. that move was a total pain for anyone that got close to me back then. To deal with Astaroth i usually liked to pick fast characters and chip away at him and try to use throws more often. he deals out alot of punishment in draining health so a good choice would be like Seigfreid  for example. after watching that vd they did good a bit making his used to be moves faster on startup cause they would be hella slow compared to Astarots Quick blunt hits that still would drain you. yeah imma keep my distance on you man but keep my eyes on your weapons reach.  >:D...wait..did i just give up my tactic... /:O Flarnnit! o.O#

lol Where'd you pre-order from? I didn't get any notification. In fact, I wouldn't have known if I wasn't up bored last night.

Nothing kills the hype of a midnight release more than finding out there isn't a midnight release. lol
I called to see if there was a midnight release for the game, and the friggin' Best Buy employee told me that there would be one, but when I showed up, Best Buy was locked up tighter than Voldo's codpiece. To make things worse, I passed a Gamestop where a few customers happily exited the store with Ivy bobble heads in their hands. \-/o
*sigh* Oh well... Atleast it'll be there tomorrow.

They'd have been MUCH happier with Dampierre DLC. Trust me.

Much. Doesn't matter too much to me, though. My 8 month waiting game finally pays off today. I am going to simply play story mode and character creation. That's absolutely it, because those are the two things I've been most looking forward to.

He should be released as post-release DLC later on if I would guess.

The not getting it a midnight doesn't bother me as much as being told on two seperate occasions there would be a midnight release (when I pre-ordered and on the phone), showing up, and seeing there isn't one. Oh well. I'll pick it up after I get off work today.

Ok, so I beat story mode and toyed around with a few characters in Arcade mode, and played a few matches with my cousin. I must say I am happy with how everything feels. It's smooth, the critical edges didn't screw everything up, and Raphael is back to the way he should play. No arcade endings is very disappointing though. If anyone wants to go a few on PS3, let me know.
